Hi reissue lovers, has anyone seen or successfully purchased the mini so black this season? It’s supposed to be available from 21S, right?! (Pls correct me if I’m wrong, still new to this brand). My SAs are not giving me any concrete info. One of them even said the bags listed on Chanel’s website is not always correct. But then I saw the minis in coral tweed and so black patent leather, exactly the same as listed. I don’t believe such big brand would stuff up their online content!

As I know, but I may be wrong here, mini reissue only comes out in PreFall collection (e.g. 21A). Just heard from an SA that the so black mini (aged calfskin and black hardware) will come out some time but not in the PreFall collection. So I think it's not coming out soon. You can request to be on the list, if you SA/the store does a reserve list. I'm a newbie too, not sure if this will work eventually.

Agree the current collection doesn’t have Reissues. However, you might be lucky finding one from 20a. I just recently bought another one for my mother. Seems they don’t sell like hot cakes in all locations.

I got told that there’s no lists for the mini reissue. I guess I haven’t spent enough $$$ with them to be on any “lists”. I just feel like they don’t want any new customers to have easy access because we don’t spend as much as their existing clients. Oh well..

Congrats to your mother! Yes, I’ll continue my hunt for the 20A. The reissue is also not that popular where I live, so hopefully I’ll get lucky, too! Otherwise, there’s still 21A to look forward too, right?

Hi there,

Sorry I misled you. What the SA told me is actually that they do not have a waitlist yet as it is not for the PreFall collection. So we're the same here : ). It may help to let the SA know you're interested so they can keep you in mind. I do not think they require a purchase history to be on the list.

The fabric lining is normal since it’s a seasonal bag but the shiny leather could be either 1) from the way the photos were taken? or 2) because it’s a seasonal bag so even if it’s aged calfskin Chanel did a shiny finish on it? or both? Sorry I can’t help you further as I’ve never got to see the bag in person so can’t really say how shiny it is if it were “metallic”

Oh thank you so much for this info! Just received a bag that looks just like this and was so stressed by the fabric lining even though it was authenticated. I feel much better about it now! And the fabric lining makes it lighter so that's a bonus
