I was wondering if any of you reissue lovers could answer a wear and tear question. In regards to the clasp, does it rub when you turn the lock? I wanted to know if the color wore away around the lock or if it got really scratched up with time and use. Thank you!

My one and only Reissue has ruthenium hardware/lock. I bought it pre-owned and the lock shows no signs of wear, plating loss, etc.

I've heard the aged gold chips if you scuff it with the turnlock.. and the ones on fashionphile seem to have faded hardware as well

I love reissues, but waiting for my unicorn which is the grey reissue mini RHW. Currently trying to sell my like new black GHW mini reissue bc gold just isnt for me...

Mine has an ark line from turning the lock, but no chipping or fading. It doesn't bother me at all. I wouldn't let this deter you from getting the bag. I absolutely love my 225 black reissue with ghw. I also love my reissue with ruthenium hardware and am not careful with either of these bags.
