This is gorgeous! The distressed beige dresses down the ghw and makes it so much edgier! Congrats on scoring such a wonderful bag! Reissues are my favourite Chanel style!
Hi reissue lovers! I should have posted here first. I posted on the coco handle club thread and also created a separate thread but it actually makes more sense to post here.
Anyway, here was my post....
It’s been almost 3 years since I purchased a Chanel bag and I’m just lusting after this bag that doesn’t exist (yet)!
Back in 2012, there was the Rita top handle bag that had the mademoiselle lock, but it had that CHANEL metal plate on top (like the one on the Trendy CC).
Distressed calfskin, even lambskin (will not be picky at all), quilted or chevron, top handle but with a detachable chain, and most importantly a mademoiselle lock!
Anybody else dreaming about this bag or has seen one?
p.s. I’m optimistic as they have released the chanel mini reissue so maybe a top handle reissue bag is not that farfetched!

Patent Caviar 226 in Burgundy (it's not a dark burgundy tho, just a very saturated red) I have Tom Ford's Smokey red nail laquer if anyone can related to it's color. or Louboutin's signature red but deeper.
I feel extremely lucky to have got her pre-loved in excellent condition. It's a seasonal piece from 2014. I didn't plan to have my first ever Chanel (bag-wise) in mid 20s but she's a delightful surprise! being said I wouldn't break my wallet to purchase a brand new at ~$6.5K after tax in Cali
Hoping to resurrect a debate - flattened bottom or bowed? I am picking up my first reissues Tuesday (I couldn’t decide between the black and beige metallized minis so am getting both - yay!!!). I looked through this entire thread and others, but am still desiring some more information, if there is any out there. I’m trying to decide whether I want to try to flatten the bases of my bags or leave them bowed. Has anyone flattened and wished they had left their bag bowed? Or left it bowed and wished you had flattened? Any pictures are appreciated as I am struggling with this one!
I think it's really personal preference. Some like to keep it bowed to have it closer to their body. Personally my 225 came to me unfolded with the bottom flat and that's how I prefer it. I like to be able to put the bag down on a table or chair and have it sit upright and not have to lay it on it's side. I keep my bag stuffed and upright in the dust bag or out of it on a closet shelf when not using. Try using it bowed and if you don't like it you can just put some heavier items in the bottom and let it sit for a few days to help flatten it.
I definitely prefer the reissue with flattened bottom. The bowed shape looks weird/awkward to me. I would never wear it that way.
Hello everyone, I’m new with reissue style. I usually not interested in reissue bag but recently I found reissue bag is very unique with their look. I have own some Chanel classic cc black with gold hardware bags. Now I want to add this reissue bag to my collection. And mini size made me so love with reissue bag Even more, I have read and seen a lots of pictures of mini from 19A collection and Recently I saw picture that Chanel made mini in black for 19K but with bruises or aged gold hardware. It made me feel like I can’t not make decisions between sghw and aghw with this black color. My SA manage to find both of them for me but I only want to buy 1. Can anyone please give me idea or help me pick one.. first picture is 19K and second picture is 19A.
