Hi my lovely reissue friends!

Just wanted a bit of feedback if anyone can help? I currently have a black reverse chevron sheepskin 226 with GHW which I am absolutely in love with. I’ve had her a year now and want to add another Chanel to my collection and I just cannot get the idea of a quilted reissue in black with rhw out of my head, am I being silly wanting another reissue so similar so soon?

My issues is that I feel like this is probably the last Chanel I will buy brand new as the prices are just getting so astronomical now so I want to go classic. I don’t have a CF and when I went to the boutique at the weekend I only had eyes for reissues, I tried one after another in diff leathers hardware and sizes but the RHW 226 I think is true one for me. Do any of you lovelies have this particular 2.55 and can you tell me why you love it and do you love it more than the CF?

I have the 226 too and it is a good everyday size and perfect for traveling. Mine is a dove grey/white with Black HW so I don't pull it out often. I love them because they are easy to carry and very lightweight. The classic are more structured.

Thanks for the input @Bahaddictmel :wave: I am so in love with the reissue and since recently seeing the black quilted 226 with RHW in person I am even more obsessed with it! I currently have two Chanels and my other is a seasonal but it has the vibe of a CF Jumbo but more slouchy which is a bit more my style anyway and my reissue is actually quite structured due to the sheepskin leather.

Thanks Tolliv, your reissue sounds dreamy, I love grey! I actually showed my DH the RHW 226 to see what he would say thinking he would tell me its the same as what I already have, to my huge surprise he actually said he really liked it and that it is different... I was so surprised :wtf: as I was completely convinced he would try to talk me out of it!

So he's basically given me the green light :lol: :coolio: .... now I just need to save some more £££ seeing as its gone up in price another £350 recently :facepalm:

Hi fabulous ladies, I need help picking out a reissue. Few yrs ago, I got my first Chanel which was reissue black crumpled calfskin w vintage gold hardware sz 226. I liked it until I fell in love w the classic flaps, then I sold it. Now that I can't deal wthe heaviness ofmy jumbos anymore, Im looking into getting a reissue.

Now the sz. I had 226 so I know it look good on me. However. I would appreciate a little room, should I get the 227? I carry my jumbos a lot, is 227 bigger than jumbos?

Is there anyone here can show me modshot w your 227 ? Im petit, 5f tall and 115 lbs.

I ended up getting the 227 and still love it! it‘s about the same size as the jumbo; perfect IMO[emoji177]

Thank you very much ladies. Your bgs look gorgeous. And you girls look amazing carrying your Cc. Now that the size Im sure I will get 227. My next question is the heaviness as i totally forget how it was when I had it years ago.

Is it not worth it to get a Reissue if I can't deal w the heavy of jumbo ? As Gettinpurseonal said it is only a tiny bit lighter? Can anyone please tell me how mucb it weigh please? My jumbos reall hurt my shoulder so bad, I think I will sell them all. Thanks
