I just returned from Paris and bought my first Chanel! I had made an appointment at the Chanel boutique on Avenue Montaigne. It was a wonderful experience. I went in looking for the small classic flap in lambskin in black with gold hardware. They had one small classic in black caviar with silver hardware and the medium in black lambskin with gold hardware. Below is a pic of my purchase! I just love the feel of lambskin and happy with the size too as I didn't notice too much of a size difference but seems it can hold more. I highly recommend that boutique! Also my appointment was at 11:30 it was pretty packed by 12:30 so I think earlier may be better (I was able to enjoy some water and my daughter enjoyed orange juice and had a little area to ourselves).

Just got back from Paris and I had an appointment at Printemps Haussmann at 10:30 am, hubby and I got there a little late and they still accommodated us without a wait. I wanted a classic WOC but they didn’t have the one I wanted in black caviar but she did bring out a beautiful C19 WOC in black which I instantly loved as well so hubby gifted. They had decent stock but it’s best to get there in the morning to avoid the rush. I was able to take my time and try things out without feeling rushed or forced, I ended up getting a cute pair of shades and perfume afterwards and they were all sweet and kind!

Appointments are not necessary with Chanel but if you can schedule one online, I think it would be to your benefit as the lines/wait times have been longer than I’ve ever seen in the last 10 years. Go online and try to schedule one for the morning.

I found 1 white 19 in at Galleries Lafayette but not really what I wanted. One SA mentioned a new collection on July 19th and didn’t expect a lot of inventory before then.
