Currently in Paris. Went to Rue 30 Cambon, Rue 19 Cambon, and Galleries Lafayette this afternoon. Short ish lines (waited 15 minutes each store) but VERY slim pickings. Was looking for a white or neutral small or mini flap, too handle etc. Most of the colors are bright pinks, corals, no classic flaps anywhere. I found 1 white 19 in at Galleries Lafayette but not really what I wanted. One SA mentioned a new collection on July 19th and didn’t expect a lot of inventory before then.

I dont know the prices, but as per the post above yours, perhaps you can make an appt to inquire what is available? Post below yours indicated very low stock. Also, Paris IMO tends to be less costly than UK. For any uk purchases, you can no longer get VAT back. Whereas in Paris you can get VAT refunded to your CC via Pablo machine

Just wanted to update on my day 2 shopping experience. Arrived today without an appointment to stand outside around 9:20. By 9:30, there were almost 20 people in line. I was seen immediately once doors opened at 10. They still didn’t have exactly what I was looking for, but I was shown the classic flap. However the SA brought over a silver leather tote bag that I just adored. He helped me style it with a gorgeous scarf too. Simultaneously my husband went to 2 other Chanel stores in Paris. At the second one, he found a tan classic flap but I decided to stick with the tote. All in, I was out of the store within an hour. Best of luck to everyone with their Paris shopping!

Also, between my husband and I, we both saw 2 classic flap bags (one black caviar leather, gold hardware, the other light tan lamb skin with gold hardware), both priced at €8,200.

thanks for sharing! some positive shopping experience and you made great choice! I do hope to be able to see the classic flap too (but in a small ) :smile:
