Chanel Price Increase *please include location*

I wanted to purchase a classic WOC from Nordstrom on Friday and my SA told me the price had increased from $2100 to $2500! :shocked: So I called my NM and boutique SAs to confirm and they told me it was still $2100 in their system. I purchased from the boutique, but called Nordstrom again yesterday just to see if the price had been corrected, but it was still ringing up at $2500. I’m not sure if there’s a glitch in their system or if there will really be a price increase the other retailers aren’t aware of yet, but I just wanted to put this info out there in case anyone is interested in purchasing a WOC any time soon.

I'm on the Chanel website (US) and it still shows the price listed as $2,100. Is it possible for you to call a Chanel boutique just for the pricing? Ideally a boutique in the same state, even though you may not necessarily buy from the boutique.

ETA: Someone on here mentioned that the Nov 15 price increase would not affect WOCs, but her SA did inform her that an increase for WOCs would come in March 2018. I do not remember the poster and this was within the last week.

I think it's weird that their system has it as $2500. I hope anyone buying from them is well informed!

You can certainly call a boutique for pricing. And it doesn’t have to be a boutique in the same state. There’s no boutique in my state so I always have to call around a do a charge send if an item I want isn’t at Saks or NM.

I checked the Chanel site as well and saw they have it listed for $2100, but the Nordstrom SA was adamant about the $2500 price. I was annoyed because I chose Friday as my 10 point shopping day and knew I wanted to purchase this item, but I refuse to pay an additional $400 when they’re still being sold for $2100 elsewhere. I hope no one gets cheated out of $400 either...that could be used towards the purchase of a new SLG! Lol.

I heard this too! I asked an SA at the chanel in Boston yesterday and someone at Saks and both of them said 2100 still unless its some special design which can range to higher prices. I am not sure what is going on.
