Europe had just price increase!!

I don't see it either. Called my local boutique- WOC was the same price

All the bags I checked cost exactly the same. Also, there was a price increase in Europe only 5 months ago.

Neither my SA at NM nor my Nordstrom SA have heard of a price increase as of yet. Not to say there won't be one, but they are not in the know. I am in CA, btw.

I know that the coco handle has gone up 15% in US. We haven't had an increase in US in 3.5 years. It's time.

Gabrielle is pretty new, so I'm not sure Chanel will want to suppress sales with a price increase. Rather than an across-the-board increase, we might see incremental increases on certain bags, especially the most popular ones. Coco handle is one example -- it seems classics won't be far behind. My logic is that a full leather medium coco handle with lizard handle now costs $4600 but a classic flap or reissue is $4900 for the medium and $5500 for jumbo. It doesn't make sense to me that the prices for the seasonals would get into classic territory without eventually increasing prices on the classics.

Agreed! That's why I'm trying to stay ahead of their game but I know I probably can't, sigh.

The Coco Handle was priced pretty low (for Chanel) and it got really popular so I see why they did it. If the classic flaps go any higher...hmmm...are they really worth it anymore? Would like to hear some opinions on this but don't want to dilute the topic of this thread too much.

I feel you. I just got a red jumbo last season but I've been waiting for the perfect nude to come out [emoji24] my state already has 10 percent tax so this is kind of a bummer haha. Keep saving! You can still get it after the increase. Maybe order from BG to save on taxes

Thanks for the information. It has been 3 years since a price increase. I find it hard to believe it will go 10% though in US. We've taken the biggest hikes here for years on pricing. Are they worth it? If anyone wants something from "cruise 2018", let's hope it arrives in boutiques before the 15th! Wonder when we will know just how much.
