Do brooches go up when the price increases? There's one I've been wanting for a while but just haven't had the chance to get it... Wondering if I need to try and buy it tomorrow before the possible increase on Monday?... Was hoping to get it next week so would be just my luck. It's not very easy for me to get it tomorrow so really not sure what to do but would be frustrating if it did go up in price next week. Hmmm.... oh Chanel why do you do this to us?!
You can always order over the phone and they postI'm recovering from surgery so quite hard for me to go - especially as it tends to be quite busy at the weekend. I would rather go during the week when it is quieter and less likely to get knocked by crowds. I called and checked last week and several stores still had it - it's a classic piece rather than seasonal so shouldn't sell out as such. I will see how I feel in the morning and whether I feel like braving the crowds

I've just spoken to Selfridges Manchester and they say they have heard nothing about price increases. I suspect its all just rumour mill in overdrive....
Yes I think you'll be safe. To be honest my SAs in Chanel Manchester have been honest with me and say that in the UK given the 3 price increases last year with Brexit they don't think there will be another for a short while at least while the rest of the world comes into line. I wasn't going to chance it as I wanted a big purchase so took the plunge recently, but at least they were reasonably honest with me. I suspect, and its pure speculation, that if the UK is 'safe' for the time being this may keep us steady to say Summer time or September ish. But like I say that's just my view and pure speculation, based on experience I might add. I think if you really want something then just get it, but if you can afford to wait and risk the increase then you takes your chances. Good luck!
Oh thank you! Well the shop's closed for the day now anyway so no point worrying! I was planning a ridiculously complicated scheme of buying it over the phone from Selfridges, then returning it and buying it from Bond Street if the price doesn't rise, but decided that was a bit extreme.
