I'm in Paris now for vacation and will visit the store tomorrow. I will be getting the maxi double flap in caviar if available. Before I left for paris, mid Dec, I was at chanel store in Hawaii and was told that they had an increase a few days ago but only for the Medium and Jumbo classics. But I've also noticed that the Maxi has increased from $5200 to $5400 USD from the last time I checked.

Omg.... The prices are getting so outrageous!! I'm going to Paris end of Feb and hoping to score a classic flap black caviar bag but not sure if I want medium or Maxi... Any recommendations?

Hi I am on holiday in Paris and I just bought the black lambskin m/l classic double flap with gold hardware and it was still 3100 euros....mind you it was the last one they had at the Rue Cambon store so they are selling fast......they also had the mini for 1700 euros...hope this helps....

The price hike is crazy! My DH is gonna give me a classic jumbo flap with GHW for our 5th anniversary in Feb. Hope prices stay the same.

i was told by my SA most likely the price increase is going to be Feb. So you might want to reserve a bag or order it before that. Good luck

Did you happen to see if they had the Mini in Black caviar? Last time I checked with them they only had the sueded caviar

Yes they had them in black and also a very light blue color...
