I just got a friend to help buy a jumbo classic flap on 7th Dec in Paris.

She got it for 3.7k eur.. but as far as i know, a jumbo retails for 3.4k eur.

Does everyone know if France has increased their prices? I'm just afraid she has purchased the maxi instead..

I called Chanel Hamburg last Friday, the 7th., and there had not been a Price increase. I belive prices are the same in Germany and France.

Ahhhhhh... I hope they wont increase it till Jan/Feb. I bought a Red Lamb SHW but decided to return it and wait for the caviar..... Ahhhhh.... It can be a big mistake if the price goes up before i can find a red caviar.....

Back on topic: Chanel in SD said they heard rumors of the price increase but they never 100% know until days before it happens. They mostly just hear it from customers but they've been telling people there is "most likely" going to be one to try and get people to rush. Last time there were rumors, they jumped the gun and told everyone there IS going to be an increase when they heard the rumors. Customers were not happy about that.

the last increase was February 1st 2012. I suspect we can expect the next around the same time again.
This year there was only one increase as oppossed to the two increases that have happened in recent years.

I hope and wish that Chanel will only have one price increase each year instead of two. I think one per year is pretty reasonable.

Just called Chanel at Bellagio, Las Vegas. They said they haven't heard of price increase yet. The sales lady said it may probably happen after Jan-2013. She said it is originally rumoured to be before X'Mas. The last increase was on 1-Feb-2012.
