Good to know! I wonder if it'll protect patent from color transfer too?It is from the brand Collonil and called Lack Mousse, it protects the patent and keeps it supple![]()

Hi, thanks for sharing. I have the same problem. I have a red patent bag and I stored it carefully with chanel tissue paper in a chanel dust bag with a chanel box, but it still got sticky. Did your SA recommended any way to get rid of the stickiness?Hi there! The problem with Patent is that it can eventually get sticky over time regardless of how you store it. I have a few patent bags, some of which are just fine, but others are slightly sticky. My SA and I spoke about it and she said it is a common problem with Patent. I would not add another to my collection.

I have used leather cleaner on sticky patent leather before and it fixed it for me on LV vernis and a Chanel patent clutch. there are 2 different ones I use, they seem to do a similar job but I can't remember which one for sure I used that worked the best on the vernis piece which was very sticky! One is Bick 1 leather cleaner, the other is by Angelus, Bick also makes a conditioner I really like for my other leathers, even vachetta, They can be found on amazon.Hi all, it have been a year since last post. Has anyone able to take care of the sticky issue with the patent leather besides let sit vented? It is very confusing with all the products or methods recommended.
That's the correct Bick, the Angelus one I use is just liquid. I think the Bick is actually the one that worked well on the patent pieces.
