Chanel SLG don’t wear well for every day use. But I washed my LV key holder and it still looks good.

I love my Rosalie wallet. So carefree and durable. Holds a lot and doesn’t feel as chunky as the Chanel

So I got them both and still can't decide I love the Chanel looks more classy, its not really bulky as I thought even with 9 cards + cash in it.
The LV empriente feels more hard wearing.
Verdict - I've decided to keep them both . Thanks everyone for your input

I switch between the Rosalie from Louis Vuitton and the zipped coin purse from Chanel but mostly leave the house with only the LV key pouch if it’s a quick errand

All of my slgs are LV and have been for at least 10 years. They are very durable! I typically stick the Chanel for bags and lv for slg but I may have to try out a Chanel slg soon! Maybe one in a fun color!

I have this same dilemma but with an Hermes card case vs buying a new Chanel to use in my bags. My Hermes is streamlined so I’m looking for something that holds more but don’t know if I want a flap or a zippy - the pic is of my Hermes which has really held up well thru the years

LV makes better wallets in different sizes and styles. Chanel wallets just look nice but they're bulky and heavy and don't hold as much. I sold all of my Chanel wallets and even card holders because they don't fit in my mini and super mini bags, I only use LV card holders now, especially canvas.

I have both chanel snap and zippy cardholders. A flap cardholder fits more than a zippy. Zippy have dividers whereas snap doesn’t, so you can fit lots of cards and some cash in snap. Zippy I can only fit cards. However snap is pretty bulky to fit in mini bags
