Please friends. Please talk me out of this bag. Bc I’ve been dreaming of it since I saw the runway photos. Someone mentioned the $10k price a few weeks ago and I was shocked and absolutely outraged and resigned myself to not getting the bag. But now the shock has worn off and my heart still longs. I’ve always wanted a special piece and just don’t know when the chance will come again. As a collector I def want at least one. Please talk me out of this lolololol
eta: does anyone know if it is velvet or silk? Velvet is the only thing that will turn me off at this point lol

uggh I’m just not a fan of the way velvet attracts lint. Or how velvet ages in general. But idk, there’s so much embellishment that maybe there’s no space on the velvet for lint? Lololol. Still trying to justify it to myself lol omg
Hi, what is the difference between the $4K vs. $4.4K reissues? I want to buy the mini white version but is it a difference in size?
Same- I was obsessed with this bag but first of all the price is too high for me to justify. Would hopefully be getting my first b/k next year and would rather use funds for that. Also justifying to myself that I don’t like lint on velvet and it would really bug me also maybe the studs/crystals would be too shiny for me. I really love pearl embellishments the most! Good luck and post pics if you end up going for it
I think if your heart still sings, they get it. You are right, it is a collector's piece. It is beautiful! We are willing to spend that kind of money at Hermesm why not a Chanel collector's piece?!
That's what I was thinking. My soblack mini reissue purchased this month was $4400.

The pearl bag from SS19 was much nicer and it was around $5k - plus leather.
I was also looking forward for pearl vag but not sure now...
this bag comes in a classic mini version but the pattern is different. I didn’t like it as much as the reissue version
Very true, good point. I recently had an unused larger reissue, that would be $7400 new, quoted by Fashionphile at a $4K buyout. It's pretty hard to wrap my mind around a $10K reissue. I'm a huge reissue fan, and this bag really caught my eye, but that IMO price point is nutty, especially if it's the mini.
