Did she say what they would do when reservations stop? I don’t live anywhere near a boutique so I fear this will cut me out of purchasing anything from Chanel at all
When reservations stop, clients who are not considered VIP would have to go to the boutique and purchase their items. From what my SA told me, they can let you know what items are available, but then you'd have to go in and get them yourself. :(

This actually makes sense… I’m not VIP and I had to drive from Miami to palm beach to pick up a 19 the other day. I paid for it in advance over phone. Had to sign for it in person. Wouldn’t ship it.

If you were keen on light pink these were the pieces to get:

1. Classic Flap - 22S and 22P
2. Coco Handle - 22P
3. Chanel 19 - 22P

These recommendations were from my SA and it has been spot on!

I agree with your SA, I got the 22P small CCH and she’sreally stunning. Whenever I used her my SA and other SAs in the store still compliments her and I gotthe snap cardholder on both season their really beautiful I actually end up selling my 20A lilac because I prefer the 22P CCH. If you can get this two seasons their the prettiest IMO too.

I don’t think Chanel would go to the SO route because all cf, 2.55, minis, unlike Hermes, are not all handmade (not sure if there’s any).

The classic bags’ quality has been dropping, prices have been rising, and they wanna match the Hermès path? Really? Hermes has the notorious policy of requiring purchase history and limit 2 per year, but at least they provide hand-made, high quality, and eternal spa service. The leather quality is the best on the market, and one can always return or exchange a bag that has defects, even if it’s minor; whereas Chanel simply tells you “it’s not defect”.
YES 100% the quality at Chanel is so bad and we are put in a position where we just have to deal with it bc the demand is so high. I’m personally over Chanel, just waiting for this one style

I can not agree with you more!!!! I want to shout this from the rooftops! My cch is two months old and the corners are almost completely worn off from three uses!!! I am beyond irate! They claim it’s normal…..well no it’s not, my grandma has a beautiful collection and her bags are holding up great. They are making them cheaper and charging Hermes prices to trying to be exclusive. I’m so over it. I have 6-7 bags from Chanel that would bring me purse purse peace but I’m starting to think I should leave just look elsewhere. Although LV and YSL are pissing me off too….so I don’t know anymore. I want to keep growing my collection but the prices with the quality are just ridiculous. I wish I lived near an Hermès, I would just switch completely.

I agree with you with Chanel’s declining quality I have a brand new small classic flap from last year never been used and I only took it out of the box to try on several times and i’ve noticed yesterday that the side of the strap is fraying:annoyed:
