I LOVE the black pocket satchel with the white C's. I went to the Chanel boutique just so I could admire it in person, but with a $3,200 price tag I had to leave it at the boutique. I love it though. I love it so much I concidered buying a fake...I know I'm horrible for even thinking of such a thing. I quickly came to the forum so that you all could talk some damn sense into me! Maybe one day I will have the money and can buy it from someone who is sick of theirs. I love the tote too, but I have a major weakness for purses with a lot of pockets on the outside.

that large cambon tote is actually 1495$, it used to be 1295$ in 2004, thats when i bought my white/black one at chanel SF. They increased there prices in the begg on 2005, I believe. but, the largest tote (NOT reporter bags) in the cambon collection is 1495$.

Thanks for the info! How disappointing! I missed out! Now I feel like I should buy a cambon (for my 21st bday next month maybe... ) for fear that it will go up even more!
