I've almost bought these a couple of times, but they're sold out in my size in the black color I want. I don't see what the big deal is if you buy the F21 version, because honestly, I pay for quality and plastic just isn't "quality" whoever makes it. No matter if it's $300 plastic or $5.50 plastic.

I saw the F21 pair in person and tried them on. They were pretty narrow so not very comfortable. However, the price is just so hard to beat. I didn't get them b/c they didn't work for my feet.

Definitely ripping off Chanel, I mean who cares if there's other flower sandals, do these not look identical?
Forever 21 is horrible! I don't know how anyone can find anything they like there... I have read over and over on this forum how people like their clothes a lot but any time I go there its just terrible... Find a cute top but they're all made out of this super cheap flimsy material and it just never looks good... I wish I liked it, why not right?

When you buy Chanel, you pay for quality. When you buy the Forever 21 version, you expect it to tear apart..So if you settle for the cheaper pair, all I can say is carry a seperate pair of shoes in your purse or car to avoid the embarassing moment they fall apart in public!

I saw those at Chanel and didn't like them too much. They are ok but expensive for what they are. And super casual meant to be worn at the beach or something. I'm sure I would ruin them in a short time

I prefer the cheaper ones.

Exactly plastic is the same no matter if it's "designer" plastic or not.

i have the f21 version and i think it's pretty comfy and good price at $5.50.

copy or not, i don't think that many ppl know these are knockoffs. if anything, i think more ppl don't know. most of the ppl in my area that shop in f21 stores are teenagers and i'm pretty sure they don't have enough money to purchase chanel yet so they probably don't know these are knockoffs.

as long as we like it right? i like mine and was actually looking for the knockoff pair. i like the design, but wasn't about to shell out a few hundred on jellies. i'm not ashamed.

me too..I love em

Me Three! They are called the Kate Spade Bella flipflop.

Mine are somewhere along the lines of 5 years old now and still holding up well.

As far as Chanel stopping anyone, clothing designs cannot be copyrighted, only certain aspects such as the logos are protected, so Chanel would only be within their rights to stop someone from using their logo, not from creating a similar shoe.

I have some Chanel flipflops too but they are leather, canvas and rubber. I don't think I'd be able to shell out that much for plastic jellies.

It was hard enough for me to shell out on the jelly Kate Spades, though I had no idea they would last for as long as they have.

Um, it's not so much about quality as it is about a label....
If you appreciate Chanel, then it doesn't matter if the shoe costs more. And yes, the shoes are both rubber, but there are still quality differences. Although, I will admit that there is probably not that much of a quality difference to make up for the price difference, but again, you're paying for a label.
I wouldn't wear the F21 shoe if it was free simply because it looks like a knock-off. Then again, I wouldn't buy the Chanel jelly either because even though I frequently buy Chanel, I'm not paying that kind of money for a rubber shoe:smile1:
