Anyone has experience exchanging in Bloomingdales? I bought one during open a card event and got 20% off. Wondering i go for a exchange 2 weeks after, would they give me discount as well?

I previously opened a bloomingdales account & purchased a m/l flap. I later decided on a different color so I had waitlist for a month and did an even exchange. I was able to keep my 15% discount. HTH

I did it before as well. Bought a classic jumbo in lambskin with 20% discount and had my name wait listed for a caviar instead so they let me do an even exchange after 3 weeks. I believe u can exchange it up to 3 months as long as the bags are the same price and u never used it before.

I was told by my SA at 57th st bloomies Chanel no because the 20% is tied to the first day the account is opened and because the sku number is different they can't allow an "even" exchange.

I certainly hope for your sake, based on the replies above, that you will be able to do so. I would call in until you find an SA who will do it for you before you bring the bag in.

I asked the one in SCP and they will let you keep the % discount if it is the exact same price or lower in amount. If you are trying to exchange for something more expensive, then you can only get the % discount of that same amount (in your first purchase) and then the other amount will be at full price. Hope I made sense. ^ ___ ^

I will go to the store over weekend and ask my sales. Maybe i will bring my plum patent 2.55 with me just in case i find a more attracting color for my taste.

Ditto that..... but make sure that you tell your SA to process the transaction as an exchange and not a return and purchase. You will lose your discount if you do return and purchase..... Just found that out today.......God Bless Bloomies....:yahoo:

Thanks for reminder "thetuk". I went to store today and they told me there is a waiting list for the color i want to exchange (aged calf skin in dark blue, dark red and black, all with ghw). Hope i can get one within 3 months from now.
Btw, which one of three i mentioned above you like most? Blue, Red or Black?

Btw, sales told me there were abt 30 ppl ahead of me on the list for each one them, red calf skin list is the shortest and black has the longest. What do you like?
