Can't quite accept the fact that a few thousand dollars bag will be sold to customer without a box... imagine in the future a lambskin bag packed and wrapped up only in white tissue paper... I seriously hope this was a mistake and only a temporary measure. Maybe a cheaper box but no box at all I can't imagine how to store my bags in the future... squeeze two bags into one box ?!

I totally agree. How can they cut cost on things like this? it's part of the 'Chanel' experience. In fact a friend mentioned that the camellia is now made of a different material, feels rubbery and lack structure! Can someone kindly confirm that?

Yes. They have changed it from fabric like material to something that feels like rubbery material. Not too sure is this fabric or what kind of material. Most other brands are not providing boxes too but I feel once we got used to having it, it doesn't feel good to have the experience taken away.

My friend said that the new material feels so biodegradable, like it'll disintegrate after a while.
Luxury brands like Hermes, LV and Dior still provide boxes, or have they stopped giving out too?

Hermes price point they should always provide. They are known for their orange boxes. Dior I know they give without asking but I have not bought Dior past few years so I'm not sure do they still provide. LV and Prada normally no box unless it was mentioned was a gift to someone. Chanel the SA also mentioned to me unless was a gift to someone.

So from now on, everyone will be 'gifting' themselves all the time! :p
