Regarding the problem of colour transfer, I find myself sometimes in a dilemma. I like bright cheerful colors but often find myself choosing black caviar as my instant go-to bag. When you have both black and a nice color available, does any of you struggle which color to get too? Sometimes I end up with both cos I get a mental roadblock. But now if the limit of one mini flap per customer it will only make things harder.

Yeah !! Always have a headache between choosing black ( cos its 'practical ', no need to worry abt color transfer / safe color etc ) vs cheerful colors. But i think you can still enjoy cheerful colors in SLG.. since they limit 4 per person :) :)

Few days back I actually didn't bother my cav sq mini was hanging too high on me cos those few days of public holidays found myself in massive crowds and I didn't like my bag swinging around and people bumping into my bag [emoji36]
my pink rect mini also got color transfer.. but nonetheless it is only at the back of the bag and part of the strap (horrible I know [emoji32]) but I will not wear it with dark colors anymore [emoji19]

Yeah, same here, my boy in camel colour also had colour transfer when I wore with jean

Ohh i forgot to mention overseas lol .
Usually i purchase from overseas if im on holiday. SA said one pspt 1 bag, 4 slgs.
I think service is better n they give the magnetic box hee

Pspt?? [emoji848] Is it according to per passport? [emoji2]

Sometimes, they see that we're tourists and service is better. When I did my purchase at Paris Gallery Lafayette and their service was [emoji1360] too. They even gave me more charms (for X'mas) then what SG Chanel gave. [emoji7]

Me too. I tend to purchase bag when I'm overseas, you know for memory sake and their service at least for me most of them are better especially Japan! And then the magnetic box too.

I read that to make a bag like chanel, the artisan has to first "punch" holes for the stitches, then sew along the stitches. These bags are all handmade and I would consider this part and parcel of a bag. You can google/YouTube it.

I think it's needless to say we all love our bags.... but to me... there's no point in being microscopic. Sure, we should look out for defects but otherwise, we should just enjoy our bags. Similarly, we should also just let others enjoy their bags while we share their joy.

I see. The holes punch first then sew. [emoji2]

Is chanel in Japan cheaper after tax rebate? Ts.

Cheaper by the 8% tax rebate and a littleee bit only but stilll better than nth

i just came back from japan

wallet in pic is 78000 yen without tax in stores in Japan
76000 yen at kansai airport

78000 yen Google convert around sgd960. If you pay by cash is cheaper.

That day i swipe ocbc cc ... full price with tax was charged sgd 1082. Then they tax refund me in yen.

SG chanel is sgd1100. still cheaper ~~

with the price harmonization, i don't find much difference except the tax rebate. but you have to take into consideration the exchange rate if you use credit card to pay. usually banks charge higher rate. so could end up slightly cheaper or slightly more exp. but japan is known for their higher price point. i only see items which spore does not have/bring in or items which are hard to buy in spore...
