samorga insert is really better than most insert in the market. i tried a few brands but ended up with samorga. now all my bags are stuffed with samorga and their air paper :biggrin:
Same here! Don't want to waste more time and money trying out other brands when samorga works really well for me, aside from the fact that it's quite expensive and sometimes the shipping takes very long.

Thank you.

Seems like NAC always have more stocks. mbs don't even have. (I mean maybe my sa didn't get the allocation)

My sa is at mbs and I am trying to find 1 at NAC. So that day nearby wanted to buy 1 item so walked in and look around. This lady who served me says she don't have name card when I asked for 1. Asked me anything can call customer service.

In the end I didn't buy anything and I went mbs to buy.

Not sure if she is new no namecard or doesn't want to serve me.

Oh wow, that was so rude, so sorry to hear that  I’m not sure if the SAs now have way too many customers and not enough bags so they just don’t bother getting new customers and giving contact anymore. It’s funny because if you call the customer service, they will tell you to find your SA :oh: they seem to be pushing customers around lol.

Yah. She straight away tell me she got no name card. Ask me go call Cs. So I looked at her and said huh you got no name card? Nvm it's ok I will buy from my SA at mbs. Then she started asking oh you got SA. What you want to buy etc? Zzz

Oh wow, so many people buy from Samorga. I actually buy all my bag inserts from Taobao :P Hubby says I can spend thousands on bags but draw the line when it comes to overpriced bag inserts  But hey, if I already spent thousands on bags, I need to save every cent I can now! They look the same to me anyway, also felt insert and it's like 1/2 the price before shipping. No discolouration observed too, fingers crossed it stays this way

About the spending, I did a calculation on my spending last year and this year (very reluctantly because I know it's a crazy sum this year but hey, COVID has been rough without international travels) and pretty sure my tier last year was just normal and this year has been upgraded (given that I received the perfume before factory 5 launch and also I am getting a delivery from Chanel for my birthday tomorrow... again don't quote me on this, I can't be 100% sure ). Not sure if they count from start of year for your spending or 1 year from the date but man, was I shocked  the figure was more than double of what I spent last year and even last year alone was not a small figure to me. If anyone is interested about the figure can drop me a PM for rough numbers.

However, I have to say my SA has been incredible and with me throughout the journey of giving me popular bags as I slowly build my profile up so having a good SA relationship is really the most important thing as he got me bags like mini rectangle even before my tier has been supposedly upgraded. I do reciprocate by buying things I see myself using too like shoes and accessories. I have always genuinely loved them, just never felt the worth as they are so expensive (if you think about it, a belt is 1/3 or even 1/2 the price of a bag and I had always perceived the value I get from bag to be higher) but since he has been helpful, I started splurging a bit. I do not regret it though as I use these very often and has since thrown or given away my older accessories or shoes that hasn't been in use anymore and I find myself being more disciplined and do not make frequent random purchases too. I used to buy something and just never use them because they were "cheap enough" and then when I realized I fell out of love before I even used them, I brush it off as "well not a big loss since it was not expensive and I can just give it away." When it comes to a 2k belt or earrings, I be damn sure I use it every chance I get and I can never just give it away so easily so if I think about it, I do get a lot of value out of it (actually might even be more than the bags itself as they are always on rotation but I only have that 2 or 3 belts and shoes  ) If anyone is interested to build their profile, I can share how I did it slowly - most important thing I believe is making sure your SA remembers you and that you always come back for more, even if not for big ticket items

Eww! She thought you're a new buyer? That's not nice of her. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with her.

Unless she is a trainee, I'm sure there's no way she has no name card! That's just plain rude, even if she was not keen on helping you, should have gotten your number (I had so many MBS SAs do this to me and I know they are not interested to help me, just looking for a nice way to turn me away) instead of just outright shoving you away to customer service (which we all know cannot help in anything over the phone). My SA when I first bought from him had no name card (he was a trainee) and gave me his number on a paper and texted me while still in shop to ensure I can find him. I think it was very lucky of me to meet him when he was still a trainee, fresh and likely no regular customer base yet so I was one of the first few and he always think of me and get back to all my requests, even if the answer is negative. Is it me or is Chanel really turning into Hermes  I don't shop at Hermes for this very reason for hard to deal with SAs and having to do many purchases before being offered a bag. I want to think (and hope) that this situation will get better when borders open up because people are likely dropping their hard earned money on luxury goods now because borders are closed.

Me too! I've never used Samorga and what not. I've been using inserts for about 4 years already and no colour transfers (made sure it's always dry hehe). My earlier ones were from China too I ordered through Carousell. But recently I found a local seller (she's a Chanel lover too, her ig @Loveandquilts. Just got mine yesterday after I placed an order on National Day.

Also thanks so much for the insights, really. So interesting to know! Happiest Birthday @MissyHimeko

Don’t be upset! Some Chanel SAs are just unprofessional and snobbish. I got the same treatment once, when I didn’t make appointments with my own SA… she was so rude. She didn’t even allow me to take photos (mirror selfie). Even refused to check stocks for me. Everything was last piece on that day. I’m so used to their **** service at times when I Q as walk in after work. You just have to try a few times to meet someone nice. I know a NAC SA, she’s extremely nice and still walked me out of the door when I didn’t buy anything, even texted me afterwards. If you want I can DM you her number!

That’s so rude of her! Most likely thinking that you are a first time buyer of Chanel and couldnt be bothered to entertain you. Normally I will just make a mental note to never work with this SA or even give him/her the tiniest purchase.

Yes agree, good Chanel SAs are really hard to come by. I’ve met a fair share of “cold” with replies SAs and judgemental ones too esp this guy SA who is in charge of watches and fine jewelry etc from MBS. He immediately kept the J12 and mentioned that they cost 10k when we enquired about the price, and giving us a look over. Maybe me and my hubby look young for our age or smth idk and my hubs was like “isn’t he just a SA working for Chanel, why does he behave like he owns Chanel?” :confused1:

I wonder why the need for some of these SAs to be rude and snobbish?

Happy birthday!! :yahoo:

Actually I'm the exact flip side, I got a taobao one and the quality is just rougher, and I'm also worried of colour transfer and potential melting of the felt (horror story I read somewhere). So I thought, since I have already spent on the bag, I should just continue to get it well protected and not risk saving the price difference. But yes they are so expensive and I'm glad the taobao one has worked out well for you!
