I literally got my mini rectangle in chevron a couple of days ago! I know you’re looking for the quilted one but thought I’d share my experience. I went into NAC on Sat 5 Dec with the intention of buying a mini rectangle in chevron. The SA that attended to me said they had some on Friday but it was all sold out then. She said I could leave my name and number with her and she would contact me if it came back in stock.

Three days later on Tue 8 Dec, she called to inform me that the boutique received a shipment for it. I flew down immediately to secure it! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting her call at all because I wasn’t a regular customer and I thought there would be other customers who had higher priority.

Maybe it was just luck and good timing? Hopefully sharing my experience helps!

I'm happy for you that you managed to get your bag!! Did your SA mentioned that you have get down within a time frame (i heard 30mins and 3hrs both from different SA) before she let go of the bag to other customers? I managed to get a SA from MBS introduced by one of the lovely here. I would immediately fly down too if my SA call me. Hopefully I'll receive a call soon! Been waiting to get it the longest time but no calls from my previous SA.

Chanel offers a fastener for the classic mini rectangular that u can use to shorten the strap. But the pearl crush is very charming and special too :) not sure if it’ll come back again.

What fastener are you referring to? Do Chanel give out the fastener here too? I know they only give out for some countries but over here, the SAs never mention anything about it but suggest looping the chains around only.

They do give the fastener here but you will have to ask your SA for one if not they won’t give it to you by default.

You can request for SA to send you a payment link to secure the item first if you’re unable to fly down in time. Meeting the right SA that you click with also boils down to luck. Some SA just don’t follow up with updates, then you’ll have to try walking in a few times maybe till you find one you would prefer to stick with.

I personally prefer the classic cf mini vs the pearl crush although I do like the idea of adjusting the strap cos of my lack of height. However, I realised that pearl crush has flatter leather vs classic which is somewhat puffier, and that I prefer. So is really up to which you like more.

Hi, congrats on the mini chevron rectangle! How do you find the leather? Do you feel this particular season’s lambskin durable? Would love to hear more about it! Thanks!
