I second abysschan's request. I don't have a regular SA either though I still buy stuff from the boutique peridiocally. The Chanel hotline is completely inaccessible today.
According to my fren’s SA and my SA, they need to add you to the markdown client list then you will be able to purchase. I tried to add my friend into the list even she just bought few items from Chanel this year but it’s not allowed but somehow the SA added me into the list and bought 2 pairs of shoes.
Thanks for the info! What do we need to do to be added to the markdown client list? Man I'm so gonna go to the store once they reopen AND get a SA contact.
Probably a regular SA you go to. Not all SA will give you their contact details though . My SA invited me to the markdown sale even though it wasn’t on the first day- am not surprised as my local purchases has mainly been shoes and to date have only purchased 3 bags from her in the span of 1 year (small time buyer lol). Most of my Chanels bags were purchased overseas as i visit Europe yearly. So def even with your SA, they will rank you and prioritise their clients accordingly. But that aside, i still managed to purchase 2 pairs of shoes even though its been a few days since the sale started. Think thr’s still quite a fair bit of items left. ☺️
I don't think you're a small time buyer lol. Would love to see your haul! Also does anyone know the Chanel stores will open up this Friday?

I have always wanted to buy things from Chanel but their SAs’ attitude totally puts me off. They just do the minimum and don’t offer alternatives when they realised that I want to see an accessory or a lower priced item.
I wonder if I have to resort to asking personal shoppers to help me get the things i want.
totally different treatment at MBS Dior where I have my own SA (cos she bothered to give good service) and they were good to my friends too though they seldom buy from the boutiques

If we’re not listed as a Client, are we still able to purchase the items when the stores reopen?
Hi, the SAs will first send the invitation to the "elite" clients. This is qualified and chosen by their headquarters. Then they will move down the list and do the invites to "VIP" clients. Then go down the list and do the invites to "public". That's what I heard.
I do agree with you somehow until I found this SA at mbs. Previously one is the SA At mbs was good too but she quit and no longer work at Chanel.
