Not sure if you just meant Chanel, but if not, Bellagio has some fabulous designer shops, YSL, Armani, Dior, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, Fred Leighton (TDF jewelry), Gucci, Prada, Hermes, and they are open until midnight!!!
Then, just take the open air bridge walkway to Caesar's shops....Everything from Art Galleries to other designer shops: Valentino, Versace, etc.
Oh wear comfortable walking shoes, as these places are huge. Expect to spend several hours there.

I'm so envious!!! I was in Vegas in April and got excellent service at both the Wynn and Bellagio Chanels. The SAs were much nicer, more helpful than the SAs at home in New York. As others posted shops are open until midnight -- lots of time to shop! Have fun and report back!

We always stay at the Bellagio partially because I love the proximity to the great shops! I'd much rather shop than gamble, since it's usually a sure thing that I'll find stuff to buy :yahoo:...but gambling can go either way.

The SA's tend to be quite attentive at the Bellagio and Caesars and Wynn...afterall, in order to reach them, you have to walk thru the casinos and they don't know who might have just won a big bundle that they are dying to drop in that boutique. Dress is very very casual since it can reach 117 degrees in the summer, so often you will see people in flip flops and bathing suit coverups on their way to or from the pool, shopping in the stores.
I wonder how many $$$$ clothes get suntan oil on them.

The stores open until 11pm on weekdays (Mon-Thrusday, until 12am on weekend only (I think Friday & Sat).
Sunday I'm not sure if it's 11pm or 12am

Bring lots and lots of shorts, minidresses, tanks and flats! It's freakin' hot right now, I don't even have the will to go to mall to look at Chanel bags.

Where are the best places to shop in Vegas? I've never been before and can't wait to go next month.

I live in Vegas...moved here a year ago from NY. I LOVE to shop here. All the places the folks mentioned below are the right places to go. I have done a lot of shopping at Fashion Show Mall and the Bellagio. Just starte dshopping at the Wynn. Have found the SA there to be pleasant and not snooty. I think you should try there...and besides the Fashion Show Mall is accross the street.

Shopping in vegas is TDF!!
I saw 5 croc chanels throughout these boutiques. And most of them are the only 1 of that design in the US.

The croc chanel I saw on July 4th were pink, dark blue, red and one in aged metallic gold, cant remember the last one, they were 13k to 18k, but oh so pretty.

Such eye candies.

Fendi there has great sale on some shoes and RTW. So is Chanel. Dior has shoes on sale as well for 40% off. And NM is having last call on most sale items. Pretty good selection, python dior ballet flat for abt $140, dior croc about 6k after tax( more than half off). Monolo and Jimmy Choo having sales too. Monolo for as cheap as $200ish.

That's pretty much what I can remember when I was there on July 4th. Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Ladies,
I have to ask this, because I won't rest untill I know how to deal with this.

IN jan 2008 I'm going to celebrate my birthday in Vegas. I've been dreaming about traveling to America all my life, and I've been lusting over a Chanel purse my whole adult life:p
Now the time has come that I can do both at the same time, and I want to make it very special.

I want to purchase either a:
1) Classic Jumbo (white silver hardware or Black with silver hardware)
2) Modern Chain tote ( White or black)

The Question is..( finally)
How long does it take to track a bag down??
I'll be there for a week, I just want to make sure they'll have these bags, so I can choose from.
Can anybody recommend a SA who I can contact by email in Vegas ??

When in Paris I'll try to look at these bags if in stock and decide what colour I want, but I want to buy it in Vegas on my birthday..that's why this makes it so complicated...:sweatdrop:

If this question doesn't belong here..than please move it..
TIA!

That will be tricky because I don't know that any boutique will hold items for more than a couple of days.
Also, you will be arriving right after Christmas, and unfortunately, stock could be low then, since people tend to go a bit crazy in the US when it comes to Christmas gifts.
However, if you were to decide in advance the exact bag you want, I'm sure you could arrange to pay for it now and pick it up in January. (As long as it's paid for, I don't think the boutique would mind holding it for you).
Hope this helps. Maybe someone else will come along with better ideas.:smile1:
