Do you mean pay for it upfront, have them hold it, and pick up when you arrive? I think they could do that...
I'll give you the contact info of a lovely SA from LV (her boutique is in the Bellagio hotel). Will pm you tonight with her details, I think I've still got her card from my last purchase/visit. I have SAs in NY but they handle footwear.

Agree with MASEML, I would suggest getting it wherever you see it first. The old medium for black lambskin/caviar boys are rare to come by in the US now, especially with the recent price increase on the boys. A few other members have been searching for the same combo.
The old medium price was at $4200 USD. I believe it's $4600 - $4700 now with the price increase.
I was able to get a black pearly lambskin boy from the pre-fall 2014 collection recently, but I was very lucky and was referred to a great SA at Saks NYC. I can share the SA information and see if she can locate one for you.

Hi - A GF of mine was in a similar situation. I'm not sure if all stores do this, but what you can do for sure at Saks is pay for it over the phone in advance up to a month before pick up date, they will hold it for you but the card used must be present as you will have to sign the copy they have there and they will take in imprint of your card. She did this before the last price increase. Again not sure if it's just a special accommodation, but it's nearly impossible for anyone to predict inventories a month in advance! Good luck OP!

In NYC: there are 3 chanel boutiques, and Saks and Bergdorf that carry chanel.
In LV, there are 3 chanel boutiques (all located in the shopping area of hotels), and Neiman Marcus that carry chanel.
In LA, there are a lot more, but it is also a lot bigger and keep in mind, you will need to drive places. NYC and LV, everything is so close together.

Just an update..I was not able to get the old medium boy in black. It was sold out everywhere.
I am in New York at the moment and could not leave without a boy. I was at the 57th street Chanel boutique today and a small boy caught my eye. I am so happy with it. Thank you to everyone who helped. Although I did not find the medium old medium boy, I did find a boy I love 😊

Thanks MASEML 😊 a quick question..I opened my box today and realized there was no authenticity card included in the packaging. I did receive one when I bought my jumbo classic. I thought all chanel bags came with the authenticity cards. Am I correct?

Absolutely, you should've received an auth card. I'd go back to the shop to see if they have the card somewhere. Or, exchange for another one, is that possible or too late now?
