For sure. I think a lot of us would discount the Chanel location at Neiman's in Vegas in the past as it was just too small and did not have much selection. They can definately compete with the Bellagio, Wynn and Encore boutique locations now though!
I prefer to shop at the dept. store over the boutique anyway as I feel you get far more personalized service. They also can take phone orders for classics and they can ship as well....even internationally. These things just make the shopping experience much easier and more enjoyable.

Oh! I should mention too that the RTW section is also getting a refurbishment and will be completed soon. :tup:

Also, I almost forgot.....even though I vowed not to buy anything this trip since I'm going to Italy in October, I just couldn't leave empty-handed after seeing all the goodies and eye candy they had available! I purchased the sandals in July during the sale and had them held until I could pick them up this week. I also bought this mini with black hardware and ruthenium metal beads sewn into the quilts. :love:

Oh, have fun! Once you have a taste of shopping for Chanel in Vegas, you'll want to return over and over again! As for credit card purchases, I believe they do but perhaps others can chime in with more accurate info.

Hi guys
I will be travelling to the USA in December and was planning on buying the boy bag from there as it is much cheaper there than here in Australia. I was wondering if i was able to get the boy bag in old medium in black caviar leather easily or will I have to call and have them reserve one for me. And also if someone can tell me what is the current price of this bag as I have checked many threads regarding this and all seem to vary.

I don't know about inventory, but I'd buy it in the first location you see it. Tax will be generally the same in all 3 places and will be marginal relative the cost of the bag.

You can call stores ahead of time to put one on hold (assuming it's available). Each store varies, but I'd say 24 hours ahead is an avg length of time they will hold. If you have a relationship with a SA, naturally he/she may hold for longer. Dept stores are much more flexible and can hold up to 3 days or so?

Price - we just had an increase. I want to say they went up to $5000+. All I know is that it is up there with the classics now (prices).
