I was in Germany at the end of March and went to the Chanel store in Kadewe. They really didn't have much stock, probably due to the 4/8 price increase. The SA told me that things have been flying off the shelves. I remember there was one classic flap in beige, one new medium chevron boy, the so black, the flower power, an old medium chevron boy in bright yellow, and the aged calf leather with the wrap around chain. I didn't see any GSTs or WOCs. The SA checked stock for the rest of Europe and said none of the other Chanel stores in Germany had better stock either and the best bet was Paris and London if you wanted one of the popular items (e.g. classic flap, Boy, GST)

Hello, a friend of mine will be in Munich the week of the 27th, can someone kindly give an update of the stock at the store? I'm looking for the small zip chevron wallet in black, the black on black chevron mini and the Dubai boy flap in gold metallic lambskin (the one that looks like reptile scales from afar). Any information would be greatly appreciated. Alternatively, if someone has an SA who is willing to communicate via email, please PM me the infor. I don't mind doing some legwork ahead of time. TIA!

Does anyone know any Berlin SA who is very helpful? I have a friend who is going to visit Berlin in a week, and I would like to do the phone order first (pay for it first, and ask my friend to pick it up for me....)

I would like to get a pre fall boy... :)

If you are not from local, I don't think you can do a phone order. Most boutiques in Europe only take bank transfer and you need to be in their system

This has been asked a few times

Do a search and it should come up

I know SA's in both Berlin boutiques (a few at Kadewe and 1 from the Ku'damm stand alone Boutique). All really nice in comparison to the other SAs. I can give you info if you want in PM. Unfortunately, they can't do phone orders not just because of the local currency and bank info but because your friend would have to pay for it with her card + passport in order to receive the tax refund. The tax refund process is inflexible in that sense. The tax refund is only processed to person purchasing in-store with his/her passport. She'd have to do everything in her name and you'd have to pay her back.

As far as the SA's in Berlin. The most you could do is call 24 hrs ahead, check for availability and ask them to hold it for you (or her). They certainly do 24 hr holds but beyond that they can't do much else unless you're a known local client.

Quick report on Berlin.

Whilst the SAs are all very nice, particularly those at Kadawe, the stock is just not great. This is not just classic but basically most things.

When I was there, I really felt like a swarm of locusts may have just descended to the store...LOL.

Same goes for the standalone boutique. That one, I reckon it has been visited by two swarms of locusts......!

Last time when I was there in Dec both stores had great collection

The huge disappointment was when I hit Munich


The whole store had only 1 boy left...5 or 6 wallets (SERIOUSLY!? SA was a bit shamed to show me as he said this was typically what happened after Xmas) [emoji27]

And like 5 wocs left in total
