This is one I initially had on my list a few years ago, but I was uncertain about not seeing it in person. Eventually I saw some JD bags in person, and I even got the camera bag, but this style wasn't quite right for me, though seemed great on paper.

Have you considered the YSL Niki? It has a chain strap like the reissue (in gunmetal, gold or black), comes in several sizes and leather options--a glossy, crinkled calf that has a rocker vibe, and a beautiful lambskin with GHW, among others. The medium size fits a ton and is a great every day bag. You might find the logo too loud, but it is the same color as the leather and doesn't stand out that much. Good luck with your search!
