Chanel stopped releasing 19 in goatskin for several seasons already. According to my SA it will most likely be released in lambskin going forward. Goatskin is stiffer and more wrinkly. Perhaps for the soft pillowy look of the 19, Chanel prefers to release them in lambskin more.

That’s interesting.. I was curious about future 19 releases.. wondering now if I should try to find goatskin from previous seasons.. (looking for a small white)..

I have the goatskin and it has no wrinkles and looks a tad more sturdy. I was offered both and chose the goat last year

I also hope it comes also in shiny caviar, although I have to say this glossy crumbled calfskin looks nice in white
