Nope! You are false.
I got photos message to me from this littleredbook user. She's an SA in Hong Kong who took photos of the 21K white coco handle.
Keep in mind the hardware color and the shade of white is affected by the lighting, but not to the extent of the iridescent colors.

CHANEL 21K Coco Handle in NF294 (Blue):

These are way too dark for NF290. The blue in the classics actually look like 21C light blue (I am surprised they still have it in store now) unless the lighting is really bad. But the blue for the seasonal flap is NF481 not NF290.

I think these photos are not representative of NF290. I have seen NF290 in grained calf and lambskin and it doesn’t look like this at all.
