I loved it but was afraid it would tarnish over time so I passed on it. I like the choker look best.

That's great that it's smooth and robust. And yup, it's true-it's a more unusual offering from Chanel in that it's so sleek & subtle as you said. I'm not sure if the second layer in this picture is technically the necklace (with 7 CC's) or the choker (with 5), but the layered look is indeed nice. Thanks!

Thank you for providing a picture! So, there are two seemingly similar ones: the choker with 5 CC's is 670€ and the necklace with 7 CC's is 820€.

And here I notice that this is the necklace version, technically, with 7 CC's (vs the choker mentioned above), and yet they all lay flat to your neck like a choker would. Aw man, lol, what gives? Unfortunately, my closest store didn't get either of these, so I will have to see about hunting down them down to compare. Your warning about tarnishing is noted. Thank you.

I picked this up today from 24b. The design ticked off all of my boxes and this burgundy color is gorgeous! That being said, should I be worried about the patent leather trim on the flap? I know it’s going to be a bit annoying to clean, and it will crease overtime as I open and close it. The rest of the bag is lambskin.
I have no experience with patent whatsoever, so any advice would be welcome! It also comes in black, red, navy, and a camel color without the patent trim, the burgundy only comes with the patent trim.

I bought the choker and it’s got a lot of capacity for adjustment at the back so I can actually wear it as both a choker and a necklace. I hope you can find them to compare!
Got this mini today! This is 24B "beige". Difficult to capture beige on camera, both the undertone and shade is off, but wanted to share the RG hardware (or "brown metal" as chanel calls it)!
I don't think there's really much to worry about with a dark patent like this. Yes you may get some fingerprints especially near the opening because of going in & out of the bag.
I really like this though. How is the strap length?
What country are you in?! I just purchased the dark beige from 24B but really wanted a light beige. Had no idea this was coming out
