Hi everyone! Has anyone purchased the top handle flap from the 24B collection in shiny lambskin? I just purchased it but I haven't received it yet. Any issues with the shiny lambskin leather? Does the coating on the leather wear well? Thank you for inputting any info on this bag.

Hi I didnt specifically bought this bag but I have bought a seasonal flap in shiny lambskin. I think it is very durable I even I use it almost daily and it endured even some little rain. So far it has been 1.5 years having the bag. I also think black is very easy color to take care of it.

Hi Miss Leather! Thanks for responding! Im glad it wears well. I have a pic of the underside of the flap and I can’t make out what it is. Looks like residue and if so, it should come off. Im just hoping it's not the coating that is on the leather, that gives the leather its beautiful shine, wearing away. Here is a pic. Your thoughts? The exterior looks to be in near perfect condition.

It looks like it should come off after cleaning and using some conditioner. In general I was really afraid of lambskin as daily use but the shiny lambskin surprised me.
Here is how it looks the inside flap of mine though after constant use for your reference. Mine is from 23K so almost 2 years old. I dont baby my bag but I put some conditioner once or twice.
In general black is easy to take care of in my opinion.
