This same SA had promised me the iridescent navy blue from this collection, 18s, but even though I gave my CC info I never heard back. 2 weeks later I asked what the status was and she said there must have been an error in the system because it’s unavailable now. Weird, but oh well. You win and lose some I guess! I guess it’s fortunate for Chanel that I love minis enough to keep playing this game.
Yeah it’s frustrating and strange for sure. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to really build “relationships” per se after my first Chanel experience. I basically accepted that i would just do what I need to do to acquire the goods I want, and just join in on the game if they insist on playing games with me. Not what I expect from a luxury brand, but what can I do?Oh yes hun @Breadnbrie , I was very fortunate to have located it. I had to chase as usual, but the reason I brought it up is because I am tired of trying to build relationships with SA's by purchasing items that I would not have if I was a finicky type of person. I tend to know what I want and purchase, if I felt like i wasted an SA's time then I will def. keep the item because they went through so much to source it for me.
In this case, I don't like when you have to hound an SA for information. I ended my last purchases with her by saying "please keep me in mind should you recieve caviar minis in Tan, Taupe, Beiges, Browns and Burgundy. To which she replied sure". So in my mind here I am building a relationship with someone who stopped sending me e-mails with regards to up coming releases as well as only texting me back after her list was filled with reserved clients. Only after i inquired about the minis did i get an e-mail with Chanel SS18 stock of clothing and the 18S beige in m/l.
It's funny that she told you that she was on vacation but I contacted her prior to giving you her number. However she was more inclined to say it you than me. I don't appreciate SA's who cannot show all their clients the same respect. I mean what do i need to do to get insider information from her in advance?
In any case hope she's a keeper. I try to assist as well because many of the ladies on here have allowed me the opportunity to find what it is that i am looking for without the need to build a so called relationship.
Besides my money will always go to SA's who are worth the time not the ones who play games.
