Was at my local boutique yesterday evening to check out on the 20B small caviar flap in burgundy shw. The display one was out for a week (fall/winter was only launched a week ago in my country) and I have requested for my SA to bring out 2 new ones which were opened up infront of me.

The 2 new ones came with flaws like scuffs on the stitching area or tear (attached one for reference) while display one is flawless I must say except for some hairline scratches on hardware since sticker was removed. Feeling bummed because I personally came across bags on display in much better condition than supposedly brand new ones. You wouldn’t know, some of the so-called brand new ones could be returned items as well because not all of them were taken out wrapped for you to see.

if you were me, which one would you pick?

This was our exact concern and why we didn’t preorder, had seen 2 conflicting pictures prelease and wasn’t exactly sure what the color would be but this is different from both pictures. Disappointing because the one picture we saw made it look FABULOUS.

I brought one of the 2 new pieces home but the scuffs were bothering me too much despite it not being conspicuous. I went back today and took another look at the display piece inspecting every inch lol.
it was perfect (at least to me) and I did an exchange. Feel so much happier with my purchase and i figured display piece is fine with me as long as it shows no sign of use and condition has to be near perfect and that is when I have looked through all the new stocks the boutique has.

This ivory has me so confused...sometimes I wonder if the medium is better than mini as wearing this crossbody might be too casual for the style? I wear a lot of darker neutrals so maybe having the double chain option is better.

If it takes super long to arrive maybe we’ll all just forget about it!

does anyone know if the 20B grey/blue will come in a card holder? I called my SA and she said it does but it's no where in the system. Her store is just getting the flap card holder which I don't particularly like :/

I love the colour just unsure if I want it in a woc, flap, or SLG form :doh:

I picked the medium for this exact reason—and if I got the mini and wore it cross body, it would have a higher chance of rubbing on my clothes and getting color transfer. I don’t think the medium looks big at all nor too blingy. It’s the perfect amount of pearlescent shimmer when the light hits it a certain way. It’s quite mystical looking. :love: So in love with this special piece!

Yes i saw it from IG resellers, classic snap cardholder, new zipped cardholder with card slots, and cardholder in chain.

It really is...almost like a dye job gone completely wrong!

I find it interesting that the same few boutique pictures are floating around...I have yet to see any unboxing pictures from an actual customer.

I keep hoping that the metallic purple classic flaps are delayed because they're making adjustments. it'll be really disappointing if they look the same IRL as these most recent images.....especially after waiting so long.

I just ordered it in the WOC. It should be here next week. I also saw a passport holder on TRR; was pretty surprised to see a new item from this season, but there it was.
