That's so weird to me. My usual sa at a stand alone always pre reserves items for me without payment. He was even able to special order thr light blue cruise flap for me? I think it might be if the waitlist is extremely long and payment will give you priority over regular waitlist. But that's what my nm sa said. Maybe it's not how stand alone boutiques work

i didn’t think so ..i thought it was perfect. It was throwing colors like good quality mother of pearl. Pinks & blues in certain angles but then mostly ivory/white when looking straight at it...hope that makes sense. So it wasn’t toooo flashy

Did you try it on? I almost think it would be really hard to wear. Mini would be easier I think...less blingy and more casual.

I am baffled as to why they even created the original stock photo which is sooo inaccurate and misleading!
Agreed, wanted that bag so bad from the stock photo but now....not for me. The iridescent ivory however is a different story....

Thank you so much dear! I agree, if the outside color of the bag was the color of the inner flap, it would look more stunning and less bruise-like. I’m 100% going for the ivory iridescent flap instead of the purple. Thank you for the photos!
Was at my local boutique yesterday evening to check out on the 20B small caviar flap in burgundy shw. The display one was out for a week (fall/winter was only launched a week ago in my country) and I have requested for my SA to bring out 2 new ones which were opened up infront of me.
The 2 new ones came with flaws like scuffs on the stitching area or tear (attached one for reference) while display one is flawless I must say except for some hairline scratches on hardware since sticker was removed. Feeling bummed because I personally came across bags on display in much better condition than supposedly brand new ones. You wouldn’t know, some of the so-called brand new ones could be returned items as well because not all of them were taken out wrapped for you to see.
