Really...what issues did you have with it? I was about to place my order. Was your Lambskin a dark or light color. Sorry to bombard you with questions, I just like to hear other people’s issues with items before I waste thousands :whut:
I am really careful with my bags, they cost so much already. I had 2 lamb bags, two minis and both had issues. The matte lamb (The one produced lately) is “dull” looking and not as soft as people think, plus it scratches so easily T.T The shiny one (the one they use for Trendy CC) is better but still no worry free.
Whenever I opened the flap, I had to be careful to not leave a mark on the length of the flap (where the two grommets are) and I felt that after a while (opening and closing the bag) the leather was starting to crack and “open”. Imagine after a year of usage T.T
Also whenever you use the bag, you always have to remind yourself to not let the chains or anything with edges to touch any part of the bag, because it leaves dents. And sometimes they can’t be fixed T.T
Both my bags were dark colored ones.

Is lambskin always not a good choice, or is it for particular seasons? Square and rectangular minis are no longer made in caviar, so I don't have a choice in the leather if I want a new bag and not preloved...
Imao, take this lightly (just my opinion and from my own experience) either light or dark colors are bad in lambskin. Maybe just black could be the best option and also chevron (quilted ones are really made of poor quality, most of the times the flap is uneven and/or are sawn not straight) Chanel lamb is a no go for me. Like never again.
PS: just look at the post after this, the red mini... it’s crooked T.T one of the many issues with those bags nowadays

If I can give you a pice of advice... either wait for mini caviar to come back ( they will I am pretty sure) or buy it pre-loved. Or if you don’t trust the preloved market, but the small classic in caviar. It’s almost the same price as the mini and you get the caviar without waiting for another price increase. Even the CH is better than the mini in lamb.
PSS: just have a look at the post after this, there’s a Red mini ... look at the bottom... that’s what I mean T.T

New small classic double flap is $5800 and square mini is $3600 so there is a significant price difference. :( Maybe I'll just settle for a mini/small coco handle which is $3700. I think I just want a square mini since it is so hard to find it, and the price jumped up $400 in US and 25% in Europe this past May. Thank you for your advice.
