Hey all!
I recently had the medium size in black and decided to let go of it because I wanted both carry options and larger so now I am pondering repurchasing in the large size or a small book tote! My SA has also sent me the same colour but I’m having trouble deciding getting the beautiful light one, dark one or classic book tote. Thoughts on my predicament? Thanks! ☺️

The light one. The Deauville is 100% a summer bag. A little dirt on it is perfectly ok! The dark one is safe, but to me, the color is too heavy with summer clothes. This is a slouchy beach bag, I would keep it light and fun.

I tend to always play it safe but I agree that’s what I’m leaning towards I love the gold logo, only thing is it won’t get much wear since we’re heading into winter now!! Decisions decisions!! Thanks for your help.

Hi I just bought a deauville yesterday and noticed these two things- a scuff on one of the handles and pieces of raffia sticking out on my bag , should I keep it or return/exchange(don’t think they have another one)? It’s too beautiful and I dont feel like returning it, I am also worried will it scuff more even with careful use? I saw some ladies have the same bag and I was wondering how it has been wearing ?

My husband bought for me last week for my birthday. I love this bag. It makes my heart skip a beat. However I’m an avid mini bag user, I have a lot of mini bags and I am actually leaning towards getting another mini bag but when I saw the Chanel deauville I was like woah I need this is my life. I almost wanted to get the LV a never full since I do not have any big bags to carry around when I need to.

What you all think of this bag? Should I exchange for mini bags? Or should I keep it as my first big tote bag? I am so confused. I don’t want to regret later one as this is not cheap and I want a bag that can last me for a long time.

this is not my first Chanel. My first Chanel is mini square and I love it to death. Haha!

Hi I just bought this exact same bag and saw a small scuff mark on one of the top handles and couple pieces of raffia sticking out, do you think it’s worth it To return it and wait for another one? I really love the bag! How has your bag been wearing, are the leather parts easy to scuff? I have another tote for everyday so will be using this one more carefully since it’s a light color!

Hi dear, i just saw your reply. Guess what, ive decided to return it and get another bag. I was too scared to wear this out partly it wasnt cheap for me to throw around. Plus i couldnt filled up the bag with my essentials (I'm a light packer) and it feels sad to not use it well. but, i do feel sad about returning it at times, i do wish I have the bag some day. Hahah Contradicting me. Maybe some day, if there is available would love to own one with other neutral color (not white) handle.

for the scuffing and raffia sticking out I would definitely return it. For something that is not cheap, I cannot take even a slight mark. haha! Not until i've wear it enough.
