This further solidifies my need to get these! Eyeing the white. May I ask if you find these TTS or run big like the Dad sandals?

I got my normal size for these and they are perfect but dad sandals I always take one whole size smaller.

For reference I have a very narrow foot. I took the same size as I take for all closed Chanel shoes (loafers, ballerinas, sneakers, boots). For open shoes (mules, sandals) or partially open (slingbacks) I almost always have to size down a full size or half size as my foot is so narrow it can slide out easily.

This shoe is a must have - very easy to wear and way more comfortable than dad sandals. I find dad sandals too bulky and heavy and difficult to walk in. I actually bought an extra pair in white and black as a back up because it’s so good.

Regarding the slipping - I don’t find them slippy at all. Once they are worn even worn the soles will have had enough friction to stop them slipping but I didn’t have a single issue when first using them

Thank you for your detailed reply! I'm already set on buying them. I love the dad sandals but they do feel clunky when walking. The straps can also get annoying to put on and off and I can see this problem exacerbating as my bump gets bigger. :P The dad mules seem so effortless in comparison!

Oh I apologize! It just stands for True To Size. No worries, your English is great!

Interesting, I really am seeing different opinions about the sizing on these. I really wish I could try them but unfortunately not traveling any time soon.

Oh yes please, thank you! You're right, the rubber soles might end up making the sandals even chunkier.
I received the adhesive soles and it is perfect now. It is invisible because very slim. Now no scratches and it doesn’t slip at all.

Just gotten a pair from the store last weekend.
I had to get 1 whole size up from my usual lamb ballerinas.
For reference I wear 38 for lamb ballerinas and 38.5 for caviar/quilted ballerinas.
Reading through the thread I'm surprised everyone sized down?
I tried on 38 and 38.5 both were tight. SA had to transfer the size 39 from another store for me.
I still find it a little tight at the base (footbed) but pretty sure 39.5 would be too big.
Will wear them out this weekend to try it.

So I finally caved and purchased a pair of the 20C black fabric dad sandals. Per my SA and all the threads I sized down half a size and the fit is great. However, when I walk, my feet make that embarrassing fart sound when air gets trapped. Maybe my feet are too arched for this style? Wondering if anyone else had this issue and it disappeared after use? Not sure if I should return them, would love some advice.

Thanks in advance!
This happens to me too! In fact, I googled 'chanel dad sandal fart' and your reply came up. Has anyone provided a solution for this? It's so embarrassing!

Hello I would love your experience/opinions. I just purchased these dad sandals in size 36.5 (only 36.5 and 37.5 were available) and I’m generally a size 37.5 in ballet flat/turn lock loafer. I was really itching to try size 37 but since not available the SA kept going on “no point I know it’s not your size”. It’s very borderline.

For those who own all of these would you suggest trying to wait for a size 37 to come in. How hard is it to get these? I also noticed this sticky residue/blemish when I got home of course and waiting to hear from the SA to see what I could do about that, but a little disappointed.

The 36.5 is borderline riding up in the back but “works” suctions to my feet, just curious if 37 would be better for me.

They look fine, but if you’re foot is hitting the lip at all return.

The turn lock loafers run small for me. But I wear a 38.5 dad sandals, 39 ballet flats and 40 turn lock loafers

Thank you it like borderline hits but if I jiggle my foot in more forward it’s ok (she’s like it’ll stretch)

I own this style in black, and I agree. As long as your toes don’t slide forward, you should be fine. Can you walk in them on carpet for a bit, see if your foot moves forward?

If you have a narrow foot like me, going up a size may make them too big in the strap area, and they won’t hug your foot as they should.

Yes I also have a narrow foot (won’t even attempt trying Chypres) this may be the right size I just wanted to see 37 for peace of mind I suppose. I don’t slide in it it hugs well

Would you still keep with this blemish? Edit: she advised to wipe with water and it helped remove a sticker that actually was there :)

How hard is it to get these shoes. I had tried them in May (sold out in my size) and then the SA wrote me today with a new shipment.
