Hi, I’m not sure if this question has been asked before.
I’ve been wondering if my SA at my local Chanel boutique can see all my purchases made in other Chanel boutiques? Let’s say I requested a item from my SA and he failed to find it. Is it possible for my local store to see I bought the item elsewhere?
 
Where in Europe are you based? In the UK they can see your purchase history in all boutiques (so your SA in one boutique would see what you bought in others in the UK), though this is Chanel not Hermes so I don't see why that would be a problem :biggrin:

I’m based in France The reason I’m asking is because I always feel a little bit guilty when I buy stuff from other European boutiques. So can she see if I bought a item from for ex. the UK?
 
I asked her to try to locate a bag for me, and I’m always pretty impatient and worried that a high demand item will either get refused for a transfer or sell out. So sometimes I contact the other European boutique directly and make the purchase trough them.
I know it’s sounds weird but I can’t help feeling guilty:sad:
 
They definitely see your profile in the customer system even if you've only bought in a different country, I had that happen. I would assume they can see the purchases too. I don't know exactly which European countries are interconnected though, UK could be separate...
 
If you are in France and are concerned about your SA seeing your purchase history from different French boutiques, yes they can. I do that when I travel as I like to always do a little bit of shopping whilst on holiday.. I do usually tell my SA though as she can see it on my purchase history in any case. :)

@PassionChanel my Sa verbally told me not to wait for her for a item. I have given my Sa first dibs to get the sale but after awhile then I would contact another Sa. I think most Sa are aware that some customers will have multiple Sa's.
Thank you, I am pretty impatient and I asked her for a item yesterday. This morning she told me that there is only one item left in Europe and that she would do her best to transfer this piece for me. I was worried that the it would sell out so i called the store ( with the info received from my SA) and bought the item from the other store. Not that it is a big deal but I did feel uncomfortable when my original SA contacted me saying if I’m sure i still needed her help with this transfer.. I thought If there is only one piece left in Europe and I would buy it , the transfer request made by my SA would normally be declined so I didn’t feel obligated to tell her. It felt a little bit awkward and didn’t know what to say or to answer her!

I got a worst story. I contacted a Sa and just asked if they had any new items. The Sa responded back no not yet. I didn't mention to the Sa what I just recently purchased at another location. The very next day the Sa sent pictures over via text the exact items I purchased the day before. I responded back wow I just purchased that item earlier that morning at another location what a coincidence. :lol:

Why don’t you tell her the truth? Tell her that you were impatient to get the item and you were worried about it selling out... I think that Chanel SAs understand their customers mentality; moreover, with this brand when an item is gone, it’s gone forever, unless it’s from the permanent collection. You can tell her what happened in order to show her your loyalty and to feel less guilty.

Yes they can, all European customer accounts are linked in the EU, UK, Turkey and Dubai. My family member is employed by the company that store this information. Outside of Europe Chanel use different IT systems therefore beyond Europe they cannot see your purchase history.

I texted her and explained that I was worried and therefore purchased the item before it was gone. She never replied back and I felt very Uncomfortable..( she always text back)
I know I have the right to purchase whatever I want from wherever I want. The reason for my original question was because I had a feeling she saw that I made the purchase. Her text wasn’t kind it was quite awkward.
