Beautiful! I have never liked the boy but this throwback to the first original design with the updated square mini shape got me wanting. Love the Chanel word on the side, almost like the hinge of a book.

I was wondering how do you think the structure and especially the sides would hold up? If I’m not mistaken, a common issue for the bigger boy is collapsed/squished sides. I do wonder if this needs a bag insert to prevent that, but it would reduce the capacity and might pose a challenge to fitting an iphone.

I think eventually sides will be squished, plus it’s smooth calf and scratches will be inevitable. But it’s not glazed or patent leather so little leather polish will take of those issues. Size is mini so putting bag insert will reduce the capacity even more. I have medium size boy but it just looks and feel so bulky on my body frame when I cross body; this is why I settled for this.

Hi ladies, just wondering if it’s normal for the SA to remove the protective sticker on the CC turnlock of a bag (eg the mini sq pearl crush) after the purchase?

Or has anyone purchased a brand new bag before without the protective sticker on the logo?

I have received both but even the cc sticker was off, the inside stickers were still on. I would like to remove them myself.

I always wondered this but all my Handbag & SLG purchases had protective stickers removed whether it was in-store or shipped, so I just assumed the SAs automatically remove them. Chanel boutique, NM, Saks, Nordstrom, they're just never on.

Yes some times I receive my bags like that. But the stickers on the inside (the inner plate that secures the cc turn lock and the new authentication metal plate) are always on still. I also may not get the paper tag that has the collection/style-codes on it. Some times I receive it some times I don't.
It doesn't really bother me. Because I do peel off the sticker on the turn lock anyway. And my SA's reasoning was this is one of their new policies at their boutique because of all those resellers.

That was what I was told to, new policy. I really do prefer the stickers on though!

In the UK they seem to purposefully remove tags (showing style code/colour etc) however the stickers are usually kept on, unless it were a display or returned bag.
This is speaking from experience of buying a couple of bags in the last few months.

I see, it seems like in the US, tags are mostly on. I was just worried that my bag was a display piece since it’s without the sticker on. Thanks for sharing (:

I was wondering the same, since the 22C I purchased had the protective stickers already removed when I went to pick it up. I asked my SA and she said she removed them…but this was the first time a newly purchased bag hasn’t had them included.

My thoughts exactly, it’s the first time I received without the sticker on hence I was wondering if this was a “new” policy since they mentioned on resellers.

I just bought this tweed mini in blush on Saturday. My SA wasn‘t in and I felt stressed deciding between this one and a coco crush mini. Now I‘m having second thoughts what was very annoying was the fact that they wouldn’t sell the bag to me and we had to purchase in my SO‘s name. The reason was bc I had purchased a bag less than 60 days earlier. That bag was my square mini in iridescent pink from 21k that didn’t come for ages which means I get punished doubly that the bag came late! First the not knowing if it will come at all and then not being able to purchase a new bag bc I paid for it so late (October 10).
The color is more like pic 2, on pic 1 the sun is hitting it going down..

thank you yes, it is really pretty but I think the color already looks a bit dingy in certain places and used and it‘s also my first tweed bag… I‘m thinking maybe tweed is just something for me to appreciate from afar… I prefer light colored tweed but it might not suit my lifestyle

Hello, just got my pearl crush denim 22c is really cute. However, I see some type of discoloration on the cc ball (i tried putting a picture) have you guys seen this on any of your bags? Or am I just being too anal about it and is normal. I would love the intel.

I have the rectangle denim mini…it is darker than the square (I got to compare them side by side) - and I think the denim used on the square is just a lighter denim. The pearl itself all appear to be made with the darker denim that was used on the Rectangle. I don’t mind it- I like the “difference”- your bag is a super nice denim…and you don’t wear it with the pearl on the denim…again- I think it sort of looks cool. Just my thought. I just wore mine for the first time last night, and I love it- a really carefree bag!

I feel it's the wash which appears to vary slightly piece by piece.

I share your observation as mine seems to be the same, darker for the rectangular than the square.

Bag and shoes are part of 22C! I posted the bag a few days ago but the shoes arrived today!

I was able to score the same sneakers in Paris last week when I was there, love them! Also, love your bag...I haven't seen that one yet

I think ppl sell those protective stickers. Have you looked into that? I think I've also seen tiny felt protectors for that small dipper in between the flaps.
