Did you happen to see a navy small caviar flap or another color?

Albeit limited small flaps are available in the US...last season the grey lambskin, navy caviar, white caviar, and burgundy caviar were all ordered by some stores in the small size. I am hoping someone ordered the navy classic from 20C in the small size!

I’ll text my NM sa and ask her if they have it and I’ll let you know!

Anna, thanks! I have to agree. It really feels and looks velvety like lamb but is calfskin. It holds its shape very well even if I fit a Chanel zipped pouch/small wallet, iPhone 11 Pro, slim card case, a small packet of wipes. Front pocket easily fits the soft case where you put a tissue pack in. I have this with a zipped compartment which then doubles up to carry bills and coins. In short a little more than the Chanel mini rectangular bag (YouTube videos). I could put in more but I didn’t want to overstuff it for now. Best part? It doesn’t look like it carries a lot and it is lighter than minis, when filled while holding its dainty shape. I haven’t been trying that many CC bags but of the designs I have gotten and tried, I have to say this bag is a marvel!
Sorry I am temporarily separated from my bag as I am travelling and don’t have the photo you asked for (also, the bag is still unworn). I hope I have helped by describing the bag

Thanks dear, so sweet of you to comment on what is my first ever bag review It’s similar to a rect mini but about 3cm broader (at 9cm) on the side based on CC size info, and a tad taller. Good to try the bag filled, as I did. It comes in black, grey, red, navy and pink. I got to see and ry on the black and red. I wanted to see the navy too but the store could not find it. Please share more info/ pics if you can. Will be happy to see what you have/ try on.

You’re absolutely right! I have an app called Stylebook on my iPad and I tried to pair it with my outfits and it barely went with anything. I just got it in my head when others didn’t like my bag that maybe it wasn’t great but I loved it when I first found it so I just need to concentrate on how I feel about it, not others since I’m the one wearing it not them. I bought it for me! Thank you!

I think the red looks stunning and perfect on you! Better than the salmon pink, and there will be better pinks coming in SS20. I have really loved all the pictures of your red bag that you have posted. I think it's the perfect red for me too (same hair and skin coloring as you), and my Chanel SA suggested this red to me first out of all other reds from recent previous seasons--and it did immediately brighten up my skin tone and complexion and gave me a more glowy look! No other Chanel reds have caught my eye until this season's brighter red, and my SA has also steered me away from previous reds, that some have called "truer" reds, as my SA said they look a bit old ladyish.

Omg that’s what my husband said! Maybe he was right!
I’m in my early 30s so I’ll stick with the brighter fun red. I can get the “true” red when I’m older I suppose since it’s lovely as well but much more muted.

So I have had the same response regarding patent versus caviar from a friend as well. Is there a reason that the general consensus is to not buy a medium bag in patent leather? Is it just not considered as classic? Is it generally thought of as cheap looking? Or less sturdy material?

It's just a lot of shine on a large surface haha. If you like flashy bags go for the patent! I don't think it's cheap looking it's just me out there I guess? Colour transfer might be another reason. Once yuh get a stain on patent it's usually pretty permanent

well said! I totoally agree that the "truer" red looks more "old lady Chanel" - sorry Chanel ladies who love it. And I am nearly 50 i bought a mini in the "orangey" red- LOVE IT!!!
