Just wanted to let you all know who shop at nordstrom. They will not be offering the ivory chevron/gold hardware classic in any sizes. No maxi's in chevron either.

I picked up the black caviar rectangle mini with SHW at Takashimaya department store in Japan yesterday. My SA let me know it had arrived just the day before. The calfskin caviar is quite hard and matte, but the pebbles are small and it still appears vibrant in the light. I'll attach some photos for a better idea of the caviar. Side note, Chanel prices in Japan are quite good at the moment and this only ended up being $2,880 USD in total.

Hey there! I bought the same bag back in September here in the states and the leather on the red is luxurious, thick and the smaller pebbles actually give it a nice look a little more modern perhaps? The leather scent on this bag is like nothing I've ever smelled on any other flap I owned. Here's a pic of it on my lap..
