Ahh we totally have similar taste/style!!! Love all your stuff! The coco moon necklace & belt is TDF!! So jealous. One of my favorite collections as well! I really want to get a few star & moon pieces. I know they have them still at Rodeo Drive I think...I hope I can get some! I only have a few pieces of costume jewelry...a belt/necklace and pearl necklace. I'll post pictures in a minute hold on!

Not to hijack your thread I just wanted to share my piece with you! You are not alone ! I love their costume jewelry too!! You have some stunning pieces. I always get peeople lecturing me as well! I also own a pearl necklace with 4 CC's (crystal-less)

I love your new valentine print flap as well! I really loved that collection. I want the pink valentine flap :yes:

Hey, Kara, I remember you defending my love for Chanel's costume jewelleries from another thread!! I love your heart & pearl belt/necklace!!!! Do you use it more as a belt or as a necklace? I thought it looks beautiful as a necklace!

I started my collection with a few pieces too and then I snoop around for bargains!

The Star and Moon collection has a short necklace which is absolutely stunning!!! I was torn between that and the Coco Moon necklace. If you really like that collection, you should at least get one thing!!

I am now saving up for the Fall Act II Carousel collection...:drool::drool:

OMG!! Miffy!!! I am just speechless!!! I didn't know that Coco Moon Chain Belt and Necklace are THAT GORGEOUS!!!! But I can't wear chain belt as you know coz of my big bum!!! How much is that necklace!!?!! It's really TDF!!! And your other costume jewelleries are so nice too!! So that's the rabbit chain belt!! (Ehhmm, you bought both silver and gold tones!!!!)

Congrats again on your new purchases!! They are awesome!! Money well spent!!! No regrets my friend!! I totally support this craziness!! I am joining you soon!!!

The Coco Moon collection from Spring/Summer 2008 is one of my favourite collections. They are fun and yet elegant. Although these pieces are expensive, I get so much joy just by looking at the design and the way Chanel puts all the colours together!!

I asked this question on another thread, but in case you missed it I'd like to ask you if you've ever had something requiring repair from Chanel. Say a rhinestone falls out or something like that, do you know for how long they will fix it?

MIffy27, costume jewelry is what got me into Chanel too! I started with the 05 Music Collection and my love grew from there! You have some BEAUTIFUL pieces! I think I'm in love with the Moon necklace! I also just got the London double decker bus necklace, and I'm also saving up for the Carousel collection. I think I will bypass the CC Beauty pearl/charm necklace because it is so similar to my Paris Souvenirs pearl/charm necklace, but I think the Carousel is much different. :yes:

Yes, I sent two of my chain belts to Chanel for repair two years ago. One I only had to wait for a week as the boutique found a new one for me. The other one had to be sent back to France for repair. I waited...six months for it!! It's well worth the wait as the chain belt came back looking brand new!! And the problem never recurs!

I'll be in London at the end of this month...do you think there will be any Union Jack pieces left? I'd love to get both the earrings and the necklace for my daughter....do you recall the prices or a shop you could suggest?
