I plan to visit the boutique tomorrow and will try to take some pictures of the backpack! When I was there last time they had it in a dazzling cherry red with GHW that I also liked, but since I already have another red bag I tried very hard to not to think about it.

I cannot agree more on the inverse relationship between size and cuteness! The small is just so very adorable. Also ditto on the comment regarding the strap length; wish it could be adjustable. The fact that you wear it in all 3 ways speaks to how versatile the BA bag is - and that it looks good however it's worn!

I also think the large size is perfect for work, and probably size-wise even better as an everyday bag. But for this pink I think small and medium are the 2 sizes to go for.

I think the cuteness, modernness, sleekness, practicality and versatility of the BA bag are just to die for. This bag is everything! (Well, of course I say it I am in love with this bag...)

I went to the boutique earlier and fell in love with the pale pink immediately. I am struggling to decide whether to go for the small or the medium, though.

I am quite petite (5") and the small slings really nicely crossbody & on one shoulder. But it doesn't quite hold all of my essentials unless I change to a smaller wallet and be very strategic in what I bring with me.

The medium, on the other hand, fits my big wallet & other items, but does not work as a shoulder bag; the strap is way too long for my height. It looks fine as a crossbody (though does not look as perfectly as the small - but without the small as a benchmark you will never know), and very cute held in the hand.

The SA told me they would get the BA backpack in the same colour in a few days, so I will go back to take a look at that as well before making a final verdict. But I am 90% certain I will want a BA handbag - still debating whether to get the small (looks best against my frame and size and can be worn in all 3 ways, but will have to be a special occasion bag) vs. the medium (cannot be worn as a shoulder bag but more carefree & can but a semi-daily bag).

Your opinions are appreciated!

I bought it in medium, I think it's a much more practical bag that I can use it as everyday bag! It can fit in my long wallet, and a tissue pack and lipsticks and not much room left. Therefore, sometimes I used my card holder instead as wallet, then this bag can fit even more, even sunglasses!
For the small one, I think the size is really too small that I can foresee not much chance using it!

Right now I am slightly more inclined to get it in medium since in occasions I'd like to look a little bit more classy/ lady-like I can just hold the bag as a top handle, and when I really need my hands I can wear it crossbody, which I think will be my most preferred way of wearing the BA anyway. Plus the extra room does mean quite a lot to me.

The BA is more of a special occasion bag for me as I normally wear dark and neutral colours. I’m not a small bag person (I find Chanel’s M/L flap is the smallest I can go) but I l[emoji177] the pink color so much! I did try both S and M sizes in the store and I found the design so much roomier than normal Chanels. I was very tempted with the small - as someone else said, this design is cuter when smaller!

I like small/mini size as the strap work for my petite frame, my dilemma is choosing between blue and pink, both are gorgeous, so which colour you would go for ? ??? And why ??

They had both colours in the store when I was there trying it on. I went for the pink as I have no pink bags and I felt I would actually carry this shade. The bag was an impulse purchase but I was just so smitten with the pink! The blue is gorgeous and gives off a more elegant vibe. If I were looking for an everyday bag, I would probably have gone for that instead.

I agree, the small actually fits my big fat full sized wallet but nothing more. Plus I will have to force a bit to close the flap. The medium hosts my wallet with no problem, plus my phone, card case, and phone charger. Definitely a much more practical bag.

I did end up getting the medium (the last one in store); cannot wait to start using it!

Congratulations on you pr purchase and thank you so much for posting the picture of the backpack, now I want it so bad...just to make sure are you located in US? Sometimes I get excited to see something and it turns out it’s only available on a different continent.

Thanks annaca2000! I actually used a twilly to wrap & shorten the strap so it is now the perfect bag for me! Absolutely over the moon now!

Ah good point - I am in Asia. I hope you have it in the US as well; it is such a breath-taking beauty! To be honest I am still thinking about the backpack... It is about 17-18% more expensive than the medium BA bag in my country btw. It is also fully lined with leather of the same colour of the bag (i.e. lilac-y/ dusty pink) but doesn't have the 4 feet, unlike the BA bag FYI.

Yay, we’re bag twins! :waves::hugs: I know what you mean, normally I find Chanel photographs beautifully but the pink BA bag definitely looks better in person than what I’ve seen in photos!
