This is another seasonal style not business affinity but I don’t know the name. It’s been out more than one season already (maybe last year? I don’t remember). I think it’s pretty and as practical as BA and the leather is gorgeous (calf I suppose?) I was eyeing this too but not enough love to pull the trigger yet. But look at the light gold... so pretty.

I just got my first chanel bag last week. It was love at first sight when I first saw this style a couple of years ago.
I dont know if I’m just too picky, but I feel like the crease on the first one is too prominent. It is not as straight fold compared to the other side
The bag is medium in size

Where do you all place the zippers? If up top, do they cause a dent on the inside of the flap? Or do you place them on the bottom on one or both sides? I think it looks better with them invisible, but wonder if they can scratch the flap. Thank you!

On the side - it can scratch the inside of the flap if placed up top.

Is it typically hard to score a BA at the boutique? I’m a new Chanel shopper, with my first appointment scheduled for Saturday. I’d like either a medium or large, as I’m a big-phone person and tend to carry a fair amount of stuff with me. The BA is by far my favorite Chanel style. It’s classy and youthful at the same time!

I would hate to make the trip out to the Boston boutique for nothing (I’m over an hour away), especially as I’m also hearing that the shoes I want to look at are sold out. Would it be unheard of to call the boutique and see if they have stock available before driving out?

I did not have a purchase history at Chanel in the U.S. (had only ever purchased one bag in France) so I knew I had to make my first purchase in store. I called the Chanel general customer service first and informed them that I wanted a black medium BA. They were not able to tell me if my local boutique had the bag, but they said that for sure I would be able to order once I was actually at the store. When I went to the boutique, they did not have the exact bag so I tried on a medium BA in another color. However, the SA was able to order the bag for me and it arrived a few days later from a boutique in Florida. This was just last month.

Hi ladies,

I would like to know if you ever had concerns about the thin leather piece where the strap of the Affinity is attached.

I am thinking about a medium one and came across some reviews pointing out that the attachment at the leather is very delicate.

Any experience? Has anyone used this bag as daily „running errands“ bag?
