I have the new version, and although I love it, it irks me that they raised the price at the same time they cut cost on the interior of the bag. It wasn’t a deal breaker since I knew the new version would not have a leather interior, but it is still irritating.

After reading this thread , I check mine which I bought last week, not use yet. N got the same issue, so I’m wondering is it a defect, should I get it change?

My local store does not think it’s a defect as all the pieces are like this. Maybe you might want to check on your end and hear what they say. I am curious.

I bought mine last week as well, and mine has the same. I don’t think it’s a defect.

I call them up, was ask to bring down to store and check. I’m still debating because I really love this design n they do not have stock at the moment.

Can you please clarify. They are no longer leather lined? Do you know why they made the switch? I saw on some youtube videos that maybe it was too heavy before.

I don’t know why they made the switch, but it might be because of the added weight. Even with the cloth lining, my medium BA is a bit heavier than my other bags, so perhaps the all leather bags were even heavier? I don’t know, but I have seen several YouTube review videos lately, and one was from last year, and it was an all leather bag.

Chanel did that switch for many of their bags, especially for their yearly price increases. Reduction of cost is what I assumed and got confirmed by my local store

I love leather interior, but they do get scratched easily. Cloth is easier to maintain.

Hi everyone! I just would like to share my new BA purchased 3 days ago in Kuala Lumpur (Chanel Boutique in KLCC). She’s a large BA with ample space, great for everyday essentials & also perfect for work. It’s hard to capture its actual colour, I’d say it’s deep red almost burgundy-like. I The size makes it practical for frequent carrying but I’ve also been having second thoughts about it. I am about 5’2. Do you all think it looks to big/bulky on me?
