Yes going to report to ebay. This will my last time buying from ebay@angrynutz, will you able to return - "product received not as described"? I would not want to keep it.
Hi all- I noticed some tarnishing on my brooch. I noticed it about 2 months ago but decided to seek out the advice of fellow brooch owners. I purchased it in May 2019 and only worn it once or twice. It did sit in the box in the pouch for almost the entire first year before I found TPF and decided to store it outside of the box.
Any tips on how to remove or how to prevent any future tarnishing? I understand that it is costume jewelry and can tarnish but any assistance to try and preserve it as much as possible would be greatly appreciated.

i have many and have never seen this happen. Did you get anything in it by chance? Always worry about getting food or skin oils etc so I am pretty careful. I would take back to the store and see if there is anything you can do bc One year is not a long time.
Does anyone have vintage crystal brooches from circa 1999? I bought one from someone who bought one at a hospital dinner auction and the details look great except the clasp isn’t the rotating clasp. Also, the ends of the C’s look too close together. Can anyone help?? I’ve attached pics of the item with the ends of the C’s circled as well as the non-rotating clasp. Thanks guys!!
Sorry, meant to say “to lock, you push the pin inward then upwards.Just to clarify, the clasp is the type that you push down the opposite side to unlock and to lock it, you loop the pin up onwards and upwards. Hope that makes sense. It’s just not the rotating clasp![]()
