Chanel 25 bag!

Has anybody seen the mint green in person? My SA texted me one finally arrived and going to pick up this weekend! Hoping it’s beautiful in person!

My green finally arrived yesterday! I had given up. I am soooo excited. I had to find it in another state tho so I won't see it in person until Sunday. I've been waiting so long but now I feel like I can't wait two days. LOL.

Is this correct though? I feel like I’ve seen a few us based personal shoppers show it recently. I’ve been mulling over the small silver for weeks about hoping that boat didn’t fully sail

I've been stalking this bag since it walked the runway. My boutique dropped the ball and didn't order me the color I wanted. So I've been to multiple Chanel stores trying to find it since launch day and, it's true, every 25 is waitlisted. My boutique told me they are by request only. If they get one in, it won't go on the shelf. I finally got the one I wanted (light green) and am so excited. It's at a different boutique than my "home base" so I won't see it until Sunday. I can't wait!

I think they might be releasing the 25 in a mini size?

What does everyone think of the burgundy one that’s starting to arrive in stores?

I am really tempted but this is a such a winter colour and I always find it hard to buy winter colours in summer

I think it’s beautiful and a cool neutral color that is not too traditional like black or white. It looks like a fall color to me but these days, neutral can be worn anytime imho lol. I’m tempted also since I’m always looking for a good burgundy bag. Would love to see and try it in person though.

Ooohh this color is the perfect burgundy. I'd say try it on to see if you like it. You can always buy it now and use it later for when it gets colder.

I need advice. I'm going to spend 2 months abroad from next month, mostly in Paris and then a week in London and a week on a cruise in Norway (wet and rainy). I can't bring that many bags with me for such a long trip and I'm torn between taking my light pink small 25 bag or dark grey small 22 bag - I feel like the latter is the rationale choice because it's a fuss free colour with no risk of colour transfer, and is more secure and safer since it closes more securely. But how can I not bring my 25 bag, the IT bag of the season, when I'll be in Paris for summer. LOL. Worried about theft though and also light pink isn't fuss free at all.

Thoughts?

I would totally bring the pink. But I think pink goes with everything

Everyone’s pics here are stunning, and I’m getting both a very youthful fun vibe AND a retro vibe that I adore. But, I was one of those who decried the 22 as a shapeless hefty garbage bag, and now I love it lol.

Thanks for the input! I think that this shade of pink is super versatile! But you know what, I started to get a little paranoid about pickpockets because neither chanel bag has a zip. So I think I will bring neither, and instead just bring a Hermes Della Cavalleria which is super IYKYK AND is complicated to open = harder to pickpocket. And buy more bags there I already have a LV Cerises Speedy 20 ordered

I just got a text from an SA that I can come purchase this beautiful bag! My question is…for those that have it/have seen it. How heavy is it? Is the chain comfortable? It looks like the chain may dig into the shoulder.

I may be the only one here but I just received the black small, and I don’t love it. The strap is not so comfy, I find it a bit heavy and it’s too boxy for me. I so badly wanted to love this bag.

the chain do get heavy if you put bunch of stuff in there like water bottle. I normally don't do carry a lot of stuff so it's okay for me but yeah honestly after a while the chain do hurt. I still love the bag though. I'd say try to put all your things in there and see how you like it. Even the classic flap digs into your shoulder after a while of wearing it.

Agreed! I also find it slouches a bit in time and looks even better!
