Chanel 25 bag!

Just ordered my medium black caviar 25 and eekk i’m so excited! Can someone fill me in on new SA etiquette because I shop at my local store, somewhat occasionally. I’ve bought a flap bag couple years ago, and my husband regularly buys me accessories etc for occasions..however i’m not their most frequent client, my old SA left and when I asked the new one I got introduced to about the 25 he said it’s all sold out and will put me on a waitlist…once i’m in love with a bag, there’s obviously zero patience
and I called a couple out of state boutiques and ended up finding one myself through a different SA..and all it took was a couple phone calls..so does anyone know why your local SA’s can’t do the same and procure the bags that way? Also, how do I now tell my local guy that I’ve purchased one and to take me off his list, or should I even tell him?

I finally saw it in real life and was not expecting to like it as much as I did! The caviar is sooo soft and flexible compared to the more structured caviar I'm used to on flap bags, I love it.
Day 1 I saw both the small and medium display pieces only and was told it wasn't on sale at all yet in this country (I'm travelling).
Day 2 I waltzed into the airport boutique and casually asked about the bag and was told they had the small in pink, white, silver, and medium in black (!!!). I couldn't walk away without one.. did NOT expect to fall in love with this bag so quickly.
I got the small because the medium is just too big for everyday for me, and for my build, and it'd be a black hole with everything inside. Would have liked to get a small in black but I figured I've always wanted a pink (and beige) Chanel bag, it's fated that I had to get the pink one. White was gorgeous too but it just stressed me out even more than the prospect of having to look after a pink larger bag (and I hope I don't regret not waiting out for the black!). Silver is gorgeous but imo a little too much for a larger casual bag like the 25.. better on a small statement bag.
No mod shots as I was in super casual airport wear LOL. Does anyone else have the pink?! Would love tips on how to be careful about colour transfer and dirt etc for a larger bag!!

I would not bother telling him unless he gets in touch to say he's found the bag (doesn't sound like it's imminent based on what you described). I don't quite understand why some SAs seem to have an easier time finding a bag than others either but oh, it's super awkward when more than one SA finds the bag at the same time. Years ago, I was hunting a bag that seemed to be sold out in that color everywhere and I had contacted three different SAs to look for it. I ended up purchasing from the SA who had spent the longest time looking for it but let's just say the other two SAs have not been super helpful when I got back in touch about other items 
All they have to do is look in their system.
My SA & my DH’s SA (don’t ask… so ridic lol) both sourced my sprinkle tweed mini at the same time, but his responded several minutes before so he “won”!
My girl was just happy I got it, she was sweet!
Both of them look up every item I ask about, to see company wide inventory.

Thank you both..that makes me feel better since clearly he didn’t care to look and source it right away.. oh well, I don’t mind having a remote SA 😝
That’s a nice husband 😊 meanwhile I just showed mine a picture of the 25 and asked what he thinks (so its less of a shock to him when it arrives on Wednesday) ..and he said “it looks a grandma bag” 🙃😭😭

In all fairness, it was the large and I'm petite.... but still!Has anyone mentioned the gray suede yet? That color caught my eye. Or is it seasonal?
Got my Small Black Caviar from NM the other day!
I have 2 NM SA's lol. One is out of NJ and one out of Texas. The one from Texas posted it first a few days before but her store does a lottery system, so when it's something especially popular, yeah good luck with that...lol. The one from NJ sent a pic and I texted her right away and she is here.
They are both super sweet though.

The grey suede is from 25C collection so it’s seasonal. This collection the bags are in denim and caviar
Thanks for confirming! Is the suede still available, assuming it’s not sold out?
It’s from 2 collections ago so I would think it would be completely sold out as it was quite difficult to obtain even when the collection was launched. I would thing it would only be available on the secondary resale market now
My husband is also not a fan. He said it looks gaudy and busy. 😿
