I just received my small 25 black caviar and noticed the chain strap is squeaky kind of like the caviar chanel jumbos. For anyone that has one, is yours the same?

I have to say I am by far the pickiest handbag buyer. I analyze and pick apart purchases for months and usually hold off until I can buy a bag in Europe. But I have never bought a bag, let alone a Chanel this fast since I saw the Chanel business affinity. I loved the photos and IRL. Even my husband was got off guard at house fast I bought it 😂.

Same here. I hem and haw for years. And then am late to the party. But this bag immediately got me and I bought the cruise version with smooth calfskin. Never bought a launch bag before. And I don’t buy doubles of bags but I am planning to get the small version down the road.

I have the small 25 black caviar and mine is squeaky too! I thought they all were so I figured I'd live with it, but now I'm not so sure.

It seems like most of them are. I asked my SA and she is going to check other bags. I’ll keep you guys posted.

Take and think later and return if you are not sure because it will become difficult to obtain because of the recent ad campaign. In my store all the black ones sold out the first day of launch.

That is exactly what my SA said, it will be hard to get and she is unsure if next season will be in smooth or caviar. I always prefer caviar than smooth. She knows me so well.

I was advised for the squeaky strap it’s a common thing because the way the leather is treated. It will make a noise for a bit and eventually settle in. I did notice the more I try the bag on, the noise seems less. Hope this info helps.
